One Final Question (I almost promise)

I am now at the 98% level of comfort that we will join DVC when we go down in two weeks. My question has already been asked by several I'm sure, but I can't remember the answer - is BCV the only place you can buy into right now? I thought I had read that some BWV was available also, but can't find the past post saying this. Also, I guess there is no way at all to buy into VWL is there (except thru resale). We're planning on doing MB and using the DVC financing. I will also be renting out our second year points to help pay for a family cruise we've already decided on for next year. I really can't wait to come back in three weeks and announce we've joined (finally) and read all the welcome homes.

June 1, they open sales at BWV to the general public but not sure how many points will be availiable by then as they have been offered to the members first.

At the time we purchased (early May), there was still some VWL available as well as VB for off-site property.

We purchased into BCV after discussing pros and cons, plus we wanted to use the MB and wated ease of closing

I believe on WDW property BCV is the only DVC site available at the moment. As of June 1st additional points for BWV will become available to the public (if any are still left, which I believe some use years are sold out, but there are still points available). Vero Beach is also still available. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe VWL are sold out. Hope this helps and I think you are making a great decision. We purchased in 1998 and have added on two times and it has been one of the best decisions we have made.

The BWV points that are currently being sold only to DVC members will be made available to the general public on June 1. If there are any points left for sale on June 1 and you want BWV for your home resort, I would suggest not waiting to buy until you get there as they may sell out before your trip.

Through DVC some use years for VWL are available. BCV is still available as you mentioned. The additional points for BWV are currently available to DVC Members only. I think the general thought was that after June if there were any left they would go to new members.

We purchased VWL in April and there were still some left. You should call before your trip if this is really where you want to get. I was told that they won't last long. Good luck!!!!!!!!!
