Okay, so here we are, TWENTY-SEVEN days til DISNEY FUN!!!!

Crazy but TRUE!!!

This weekend the rain has come back --we managed to get the soccer games in yesterday before the showers took over, but today it is a decidedly rainy day!

I have errands to run. ONE is so I can buy a few new petunias for my front yard. SOMETHING ATE MY PETUNIAS!!!!!! (doesn't that sound like something Minnie would say on PlayHouse Disney??!!)

Well, something ate a couple of them... AND it left a "trail" of slime. I am thinking "slugs"? or caterpillers... NOW, I am definitely one of the "live and let live" in the insect world mind set. (after all it is a BUG'S LIFE after all -- I have sat through that attraction a few times can you tell? )

BUT. When those bugs start to invade my space, well, we have an issue. SO I am going to replace a few petunias today, and shout some threats. Hopefully that will do the trick. Don't ask me what I will do next if it doesn't. I take my gardening very seriously... I hate to say it, but they may end up looking like the Zebra Domes I left in my car. (IF you don't know what I am talking about -- check out LL's PTR )

So besides a few errands, I think we will be having an indoor movie and popcorn kind of afternoon. Along with our exploring the new WiiFIT game we bought last week. We received a coupon, so it was cheap. I like the original WiiFIT, but the boys will like this one, too, because it has games, kinda like Wii Sport. SO, we will probably try that out today.

I have laundry to do. I have pictures to share too! And I have lots of TRs and PTRs to get caught up on!

I am glad the guys were outside for most of the day yesterday, but I may have to kick them out of the house in rain coats and boots if they start jumping on the furniture!!!!

Glad you got through the craziness at work! This week is going to be a doozy!! I have to get my final done tonight because I have 1 senior and our schedule is all out of whack, so should be fun LOL!

Oh it was "fun" describe fun with two boys contained in a house with four walls... They did go out to stomp in the mud etc. for a bit. Thank goodness for rainboots! Of course it was in the 70s, so very strange! We did have fun, we didn't get to the Wii console, but that was because we were busy trying to finish building a lego set... We did make pizza for lunch, and watch several episodes of Clone Wars (the series 1 DVDs)... with popcorn!

Yes these final weeks have so much going on, don't they!!!!

Yes well it was pleasant out, even with the rain, but nothing was to be done, it poured last night so we have big time mud in the back of our house! The petunias are good, I didn't get them in the ground, too much rain even still, but they are on my porch so tomorrow with some sun, should work.


We didn't watch a Disney movie, I am afraid. We ended up watching several episodes of Clone Wars... the guys really like it. So that was practically a movie! I am gearing up for my Disney Weekends starting next week, though!!!

It was warm, in the low 70s and raining, so the boys were definitely outside making a mess but having fun!

Sounds like we had similar days although the rain didn't make it here until later this afternoon. We saw Shrek, Target, lunch, and then the kids both worked on Legos. My DD got one of the new Toy Story sets with RC and Buzz and Woody...put it together all by herself. It's neat because he rolls!

Me, I couldn't get myself together...didn't get any housework done and only school work was registering for two classes for my license renewal. We start state testing tomorrow and I am dreading it. I'm hoping once this week is over the rest of the year will fly by for those of us still in school!!

I truly have an update almost finished. I hope I can post it tomorrow. I have a big event tomorrow evening at school, then look out! Memorial Day weekend and it is all downhill from there!

The end of the school year is always SO busy! Are you at an elementary, middle, or high school? I teach 3rd grade at a K-12 school and it's been crazy.

For sure!!!
Our kids have a full day today and a half day tomorrow. Teachers are doing inventory of books, end of the year assessments, putting lots of numbers in lots of grids on lots of papers.

And crowd control.
That's about all you can do with kids who are feeling the summer break big time!
