One Day trip

I just booked a quick Disney trip for May 24-27th. I’m thinking that my son would love to spend one day in Epic. Any tips/thoughts on which day would be best to visit? We last visited Universal in 2013

That’s a holiday weekend so probably will be pretty crowded. I would say the Tuesday after Memorial Day is probably better than the weekend or holiday. Prepare to spend the whole day there and probably won’t be able to do everything. I would try to go to the Nintendo world later in the day. Almost all the early entry people are going there first so later in the day. The lines might be lower because they moved to other areas of the park. If you can afford it, might want to pay for express passes.

The days are probably all about equal.
I would pick whichever works best for your plans. Buy your tickets as soon as you have picked, many days Epic is selling out.

Ideally you will want to plan for whichever day you will be able to hang until park close. The last few hours will have the lowest waits of the day by far. If you have to take a multi-hour break and come back the last 2hrs, it would be worth it. Or coming in a bit later, eating a long lunch/dinner for breaks, whatever it takes to make it to those glorious last 2hrs.

I found the food at Epic to be quite good. My favorite portal was Isle of Berk. Loved Monsters Unchained. Didn’t think the 3 hr wait for Battle of the Ministry was worth it. Barely remember the actual ride.
