I am going to Orlando for a work related conference next month, and the way things are working out, I will have most of an entire day to myself. Suggestions for a single male traveler in a single day?

Thanks.

depends upon you - what do you like and how much money can you spend?

all the major parks are pretty expensive - WDW, SW, US/IOA

do you like shows, thrill rides, learning something different, animals, etc

Thanks!
I do have park hopper admission for the day. I bought an extra day figuring the extra $10 would keep my options open.

EPCOT is my choice for adults as a first option. Any of the other parks that you would like to do alone, would be my second. Then something outside the parks:
It depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, mini-golf, fishing, RPDE, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour

Thanks, all. You've given me some things to think about. What I may do is try to hit some of the more popular rides in different parks that would be faster as a solo party.
Maybe treat myself to a nice meal in the evening wherever I end up.

If you're into beer, make sure you check out Big River at the Boardwalk. Great place to relax and enjoy some great beverages.
