Ok? I'm new to this board....We are going to WDW in June. My husband bought tickets for universal from someone who had 1 day left on their tickets(2 for $20). Will this get us into both parks? I've still got to buy my 6yo boy a ticket for 1 day? HELP! I know NOTHING about Universal!!! How much is 1 day ticket for child? Where can I find this info?

The unused day on two-day tickets will get you into both parks as long as the original purchasers name printed isn't on the back. The tickets are technically non-transferable and Universal often DOES ID!! A one day pass, however, that you will need to buy for your son, is only good for one park. You cannot park-hop with a one day pass.

Also, check the date on those old tickets. The date is typically printed somewhere (although small) by the computer printing the tickets.

Make sure it is AFTER April, 1999. In other words, make sure he didn't buy a 2nd day free ticket or the 2-day USF only ticket. Both were available when the resort was limited to only USF and IOA wasn't opened yet.

If the date is after April, 1999 (these tickets will be purple or teal - saying Universal Studios Escape - or have the new Universal Orlando logo on the front) - then you "shouldn't" have a problem. You still might want to visit guest services when you get to the park and have them take a closer look at those tickets.
