Looking around I can see discounts offered for one week , weekend specials etccc but how about a one day rental around wdw..do such discounts exists , for a one day rental?

The best out there now is just an upgrade, or if you have a special promotion specific to your account. I have a free day birthday coupon from Alamo that only requires a 2 day rental, so I have a 2 day rental for a midsize next week for $51.62. The regular alamo discount for a free day rental requires a 3 day keep, that was $79.56. My pickup is 5/26/12.

I had a standard size reserved at Alamo at the Car Care Center for one day since we arrive on a Tuesday and just needed groceries - I had an upgrade coupon from an economy size - it was $41.00 for the day. With the help of these boards, I now have a standard size from Alamo, picking up at the airport and dropping off at the CCC for an entire week for $80 all in! For the extra $40, we decided the extra 6 days would be great having a car so we have a little more freedom since we aren't doing the parks this trip!
