One day rental car through Disney Car Care

Any one do this?

my niece is going to the world in May- she is arriving on Sunday and staying until Saturday

she is staying at Pop century. Needs to rent a car for the Thursday when she needs to meet her MIL half way for picking up her daughter (who is 7 months)

How does she do this?

what is the rental agencies that use the Car Care place.

Do they take discounts?

National and Alamo are the two agencies at the Customer Car Center. To rent from either, just go online and specify the CCC as the pick up/drop off location. Alamo has a specific code for this locationa, and I always use their search engine to find it. Once she has her reservation, she can call for free pick up that day and they will pick her up at any Disney hotel and shuttle her to the CCC. On the return, they will drop her off at her hotel, or even one of the theme parks. It's fairly easy. You can use any valid National or Alamo discount for the rental.

Alamo/national are at the CCC at Disney. she needs to make a reservation and call the day before she needs the car for pickup. she will also need to rent a baby seat (unless she has one). She will also have to be at least 21 years old and if she is under 25 she will pay an extra fee. They will accept discounts or coupons, but, it is doubtful that she will find one for one day rentals.

Alamo's location code for the CCC is ORLR72. We're renting for a day and we were able to apply an Alamo Insiders double upgrade coupon to the reservation.

Good for you!!! As I said, they are difficult to find and you do need to be a member of the Insiders to get that code. And, most of them require a Sat. stay. Not all, but, most.

That Saturday night stay is the biggest problem with coupons. We usually arrive on a Sunday so if we want to rent a car, even for 4 or 5 days, most coupons don't work for us. The one I found on the Insiders web page had no minimum rental period and no Saturday night keep requirement.

In the end I won't be using the coupon after all. Alamo reduced the price of a Fullsize to below that of a Compact, so it became cheaper to rent a Fullsize rather than rent a Compact and use the double upgrade coupon.
