Hoping you all can help a US newbie! We will have one full day to spend before a cruise. Our kids will be 7 & 4 - should we do one park (which one?) or do the 2 parks in 1 day - is that even possible with the kids?? Any help/guidance would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

We just got back from our first trip to US/IOA and loved it!

While Seuss Landing and Camp Jurassic were awesome, I would probably do US if I had to pick a park for kids that age.

I think there is more for your kids age at US - Jimmy Neutron, Shrek, Woody Woodpecker, ET, the ball zone at Curious George, the animal actor show. More characters to meet that would appeal to them at their age as well (Madagascar, Curious George, Scooby Doo, Sponge Bob)

Have fun!

I'd actually do two parks in one day and hit the highest interest places. Pre-kids, we managed to do IOA, US, then back to IOA quite easily in one day several times- during the busiest time of year. (Week after Christmas). With kids, crowds are a bigger concern though. If you think you'll go back, you can get the two day, two park ticket because it never expires. Then you can play it by ear once you're actually in the park.

My son was 3 and 3.5 for his last two trips and he preferred IOA to US by far.

I agree...rushing through both parks just doesn't make too much sense. I would suggest checking out the website and seeing which park would hold the most interest for your family.
