one day park hopper?

Is there such a thing as a one-day park hopper for both DL and CA?

Seems like i read about it, but can't find it now!

Sure is. You can only buy it at the ticket booths (or at least you used to only be able to buy it there). Current price is $73.

No, you don't. It's actually the ticket choice they are promoting for single day visitors.

I just bought mine online at disneyland.com. I was shocked, too. so excited!
