So, is the one day one park price for disneyland tickets the same at the gate as it is online? Should I just wait until I get there? The price won't go up any more by October will it? Any other places I can buy them cheaper? :hippie: (This started out as one simple question :headache: )

As far as I know there are no discounts (unless you can get them from work or something), the price is the same, and they *just* raised prices so I can't imagine they'll do it again so soon. :)

It still might be a good idea to buy the tickets ahead of time. It will save you time from standing in another line to buy tickets (and that line can get pretty long sometimes)

Definitely buy them beforehand especially if you only have one day. Buying tickets was the 3rd longest line we waited in, after Indy and ToT. Probably about 30 minutes.

Up to you if you want to buy them ahead of time or at the park, either way it's the same price. However, if you are searching for a discount, depending on how many tickets you are interested in you may want to wait until you are at the park, we usually see people near the ticket boths who are selling their left over tickets. Something like this would be good if you only need 1 or 2 tickets. Sometimes people don't use all the days in their Hopper tickets and sell left overs. A man approached us with a 1 Day 1 Park ticket for $40.00, but we needed a hopper. And on our recent trip, we had 2 left over 1-Day Park hopper tickets from a previous trip which we were able to sell for $50.00 each. Of course if you want to try this, just be sure to read the info on the ticket(s), and use your judgement and common sense to be on the sure and safe side pirate:.

You may also want to check Craigslist for deals. Same thing, people list/sell their left over tickets. Same rules apply, use your best judgement and common sense, and it's better to deal with people in person than via mail so search for local offers.

Thanks for the input. My sister's coming in around 2pm on Saturday. Are the lines for tickets very long then?

There's definitely confusion here. The original post was not about park hoppers. On the Disney ticket site, it is clearly stated that you cannot buy 1-day 1-park tickets online.

Single-Day Theme Park Ticket***

Available at Resort Main Entrance ticket booths or by calling (714) 781-4400***.

Ah yes, I didn't mean online. I meant over the phone. Sorry.

So, will there be very much of a line at tickets booths at 2pm on a Saturday as opposed to the trouble of ordering tickets by phone and waiting for them to come in the mail?
