One-Day MK Tickets

Can these tickets be converted to one-day non-MK tickets? They cost more, after all, so that shouldn't be a factor. I still have a feeling the answer is no (just because they say so ).

Guest Relations can do it on a case by case basis - it's technically considered a ticket 'downgrade.'

I was at Guest Relations activating my AP and the lady next to me bought four 2 day tickets for her family to go to 2 parks in one day (a common mistake discussed often on Disboards). The CM changed her 2 day tickets into 1 day hoppers and gave the lady a refund without any fuss or questions. So it seems like they will downgrade and do a refund.
