One day in Hershey, PA

Looks like the museum won't be open yet.

We are coming in on a Friday night, will spend Saturday there, and then leave Sun. am. So, we will be there all of one day.

What should we do while there?

When will you be there? Hershey Park is open in the evenings during the weekends now. Also Chocolate World is fun. It is open all year around. Holiday lights are fun if you are coming later this year.

The museum will be open in Jan. 2009.
What weekend will you be there? Hershey Park in the Dark is on the weekends starting the 17th. Here is a link to some info:

You could also go to Chocolate World. There is the free chocolate ride tour, a 3D show, Trolley Ride, shopping, food, desserts! Here is a link to some info:

We will be there the weekend of October 23-24.

We will be driving from Montreal, Canada on Friday, but DH has meetings until noon on Friday, so we won't be in PA until 10pm or so.

We will only have Saturday there and need to head home Sunday morning.

They have a little Halloween party at the park called 'Hershey Park in the Dark' I've never been but I'm thinking of going to check it out this year. All the rides are still open. And there's always Chocolate World. The factory tour always makes me hungry!

I doubt all the rides are open, I would check the web site. Other years we have gone the water rides are closed of course and most of the back of the park was roped off.

Well, definitely the water rides would be shut down. I meant the coasters as well as the kid's and carnival type rides. Six Flags has the same kind of party here in NJ and almost all of their rides are open.
