One-day in Epcot Feb. 8 - Anything I'm missing??

Just decided to plan a somewhat-spontaneous (adult) girls weekend for February 8th, one day only in Epcot! Haven't been to WDW in 3 years, and never without my kids! So excited to be back on the disboards! Would the construction and closures deter you from choosing this park? Looks like the only major attraction closure will be Test Track...

The whole daily ticket rate fluctuation is new to me. Our dates are flexible (weekend only though), so I'm looking at Feb. 8th because a one-day ticket is cheaper than any other Saturday between January-April. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something that is going on that would bring down the ticket price that day??

Also, suggestions for a decent hotel off-property that is relatively close and inexpensive? Since we're only there 2 nights w/o kids, we don't care about pool amenities, so I'd rather avoid resort fees - but definitely want it clean and safe. We'll likely uber to/from the park on Saturday. Thanks for any suggestions!

You’ll be there for the Festival of the Arts, one of my favorite times to be in Epcot.

We haven't stayed at them but I have heard the Wyndham & Hilton at Bonnet Creek are nice and close by, but I'm not sure they are inexpensive. Since you are using Uber, you might want to consider the hotels near DS.

We usually stay on palm Parkway or at Marriott village when we are off property....

Festival of the Arts is fun to experience in Epcot! We enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista in August. It was undergoing construction so that can be a little wonky (had to go in a side entrance to get to our room vs. through the main lobby) but it was super affordable and really close to the parks. No resort or parking fees.
