One day car rental? Sea World Trans?

I'm planning a late January/early February trip. I LOVE the convenience of DME and Disney transportation and don't want to rent a car for the duration of our trip, but I DO want to go to Sea World this time! I vaguely remember a car rental place at the Trans and Ticket Center outside MK. (?)

Anybody done this? Is there other transportation available to and from Sea World?

You can take the Lynx(public bus) from the TTC or DTD for 1.50 per person each way. You can rent a car from DTD locations or Car Care Center at Disney. They will send a shuttle for you to pick up your car. We considered those options but decided to hire Tiffany Towncar instead. It is $55 round trip which is probably what it would cost for a rental car plus the parking fee and I don't have to drive. We decided the bus would be a hassle, even though it was cheap and taxi would cost just as much as the towncar so that is what I chose.

Renting a car from Alamo or National at the Disney Car Care Center is pretty easy because a shuttle will pick you up at your resort and take you to the CCC but you do have to make the appointment in advance.
Check your rental rate + SeaWorld parking (about $12) to see if this is a reasonable deal. Having a car for a day mid way through your trip can be really nice because it gives the freedom to stop at Walmart or the grocery store for snacks or whatever.

By the way, the Entertainment book Alama Discount I.D. Number is 7012170 and will almost always save a little on your rental if you're renting normal cars. It may or may not apply to specialty vehicles.

Thanks for the replies! Think I'll check out the towncar and bus so I don't have to drive and get in a huge fight with DH over directions, blah, blah, blah.
