But i did want to mention what I found totally over rated and totally underrated!

MOST OVER RATED THING:

Tour Guide Mike! all his recomendations we found really off and even snuck over to some of his RED LIGHT parks and guess what?? They were less crowded than the ones he said GO TO! midway through our trip we threw our schedule out the window and went on our own! I would never ever use him again!

WE fell in love with Typhoon Lagoon and can't believe how many people don't take advantage of them being there!! (us included) we had a blast playing in the kiddie areas with the kids (minus the MANY WHAT NO TO WEAR contestants around!!)

There is so much more to come, so please just give me a chance to get back on schedule!

Our departure was at 6am on Saturday the 12th!

Our limo arrived at 3am and had us at Midway by 4! it was a ZOO ALREADY! the lines were crazy and my kids were WIDE AWAKE!

The southwest desk does not open until 5am, but we had to stand in line as all teh benches were taken and the line was enormous!!

FInally 5am rolls around and they had attendants at EVERY WINDOW! it was amazing!!! The line was POOF in no time! i had never seen anything more efficient!!

So i am sitting here right now drinking out of my New POP Century mug that was definately NOT worth it this time around, but is a nice souvie!!
Just trying to think of everything that happened!

After check in, it was time to go through security! that was NOT fun with 2 kids, 2 strollers and about 5 carry ons between the 5 of us!

Laptops had to be taken out, shoes had to come off, strollers folded and put away, all liquids finished! (but they let my kids keep their milk!)

NO ONE set off the alarm! so we were really OFF..
kind of! hahaha

DS lost a sandal and we could not find it for the life of us! we looked everywhere and finally someone came up to us and handed it over! (DD had already pulled it off the belt and was trying to put it on her brother! )

Mcdonald's was next for breakfast and soo yummy! Next was a quick stop to gate check the strollers (we needed them tagged) and then i took a look at our boarding passes!! OH NO! we were in group B!!

Oh well no big deal, NO WAY was i going to sit in line and camp out under the letters like everyone else was doing! i didn't think it was THAT big of a deal! But get this! when they start to board they let us preboard b/c we had kids under 4!!!!

The line was held up again and aGAIN because the gate attendant SAID:

ONLY the PARENTS OF THOSE TRAVELLING WITH UNDER 4 children! the rest of the party can wait to board...my father went to wait, but you should have seen all the otehrs just standing there and then getting mad when they were turned away

The flught was AMAZING! 2.5hrs and the kids were GREAT! there were ALOT of screaming children on our flight, but mine didn't let out so much as a peep!
We brought lots of new toys and a DVD player...go figure we didn't need the DVD player AT ALL! it was actually a waste of space to bring it with!

They played niceley and then stared out the window and drank some water when they brought it around!

The magic was getting closer and we were getting more and more excited!!!

I hate security...that's the pits! I'm glad you found his sandle though! I once lost a new tennis shoe for my DS...never found it!

oh no!! i would have been driven crazy without the sandal, b/c it's the only shoe we brought! hahah! we always get them a new gym shoe at the parks!

On our arrival day we have Biergarten!!!!

This was in Germany

We had a ressie at 530pm, but arrived at 5! we were starved from traveling all day!

At the counter they didn't have record of our ressie and our confirmation number pulled up nothing!

This was NOT a good way to start up, but alas, they told us it was no big deal and sat us RIGHT AWAY! we didn't even get a chance to sit down!!

We had never been there before and found it amazing!!! It was delish and the inside was sooo pretty!!!

Service with Sebastian was Fantastic and the buffet was HOT HOT HOT! it was GREAT!

I loved the Apple Strudel and the Blueberry something or other for dessert!! YUM!

The group of friends at our table had some FABULOUS frou-frou drinks and if i was not pregnant i would have been all over that!!

There was NOT ONE THING on that menu that was gross! haha!

The entertainment was fun and fabulous and this place was DEFINATELY kid friendly!!

My one complaint:

PARENTS!!! many parents let their kids go up to the buffet alone, which is fine IF YOU KNOW YOUR KIDS! i saw 3 kids all from the same family that went up there and PUT THEIR HANDS in the salads to get a certain tomato, touch about 6 of the sausages, to get the right one!!! (there are utensils FOR EVERYTHING). One kid SMELLED the rolls before grabbing one. I mean he picked up about 5 smelled each one and put them back.
I told a CM RIGHT AWAY and they removed everything and brought out fresh stuff!

These kids were out of line!

MY RAVE OF THE MEAL:

The castmembers kept EVERYTHING looking clean and fresh and amazing! it was totally fabulous! They cleared our plates, kept the drinks flowing and the buffet was immaculate!

Mother's Day had us at Chef Mickeys

There was prime rib and some other great stuff on the buffet since it was Mothers Day and it made a great place all that better!

Reservations were at 12:10, we arrived at 11 with every intention of shopping a bit and then checking in, but we were starved! so i just checked if it would be possible to be seated around 1130 or so and they said they could take us RIGHT AWAY!!!

So in we went in no time!!!

Our waitress was a bit slow, but understandably so since it was busy, but we did have to ask her 3 times for our drinks and our waters never arrived. (i just wish she would write things down).

As soon as we arrived, she did ask if we were on the DDP and i'm positive that she knew she was getting her tip no matter what she did and figured she could skimp out on our table.

The food was great as always, but the buffet line was a mess. there were a lot of empty platters and food everywhere. There didn't seem to be an attendant cleaning too much.

The characters were fabulous, but the interaction was much more limited this year, and we think it was due to a popular time to eat.

Donald's Breakfastsaurus on Tuesday 5/15

Our reservations were for 8am and there was just no way we were making these, so i canceled and asked for something later and they asked if i was on the dining plan and after i said yes, they said they were totally booked. So I had DH call back while i was in the shower and they asked the same question and said all booked...

So we took off for the park and got there around 945 and went up to the podium at DOnald's and we were seated within minutes!

So DO NOT EVER go by what the dining line says...OR say you are NOT on the dinind plan b/c i'm positive they save tables for those not on it.

Onto the food...

ehhhhh...

I was not thrilled with any of it and GO FIGURE we ALWAYS do buffets, so we should be used to the food selections. It was just not very good.

The CMs were AWESOME however about keeping it clean and the COLD buffet was fabulous! The fruit was actually ripe and they had a great selection of stuff!

Our waitress was efficient and quick and somewhat friendly.

The characters were cute and fun and stayed for photos, but seemed to be running behind.

My RAVE of the MEAL:

The fruit was the best on property, super ripe and juicy!

They asked if anyone had a birthday and nobody answered, but one couple went up to the character coordinator and must have said they did, but couldn't understand (they were from another country). So the characters sang, danced and gave them a certificate...

well lo and behold it was suddenly 10 more peoples birthdays If i had to sing happy birthday one more time

That really drove me nuts!


We would most likely not do this one again, but it's a good choice if you want to get intot he park before opening and eat and then head to a big ride and not wait in line!!

DMM ~ Your posts ALWAYS get me excited for Disney!!! I was just wondering what next years vacation should be... and low and behold, you have me ready to plan WDW 2008!!!!!!! Maybe you should work for WDW Ressie line?

Welcome aboard!! Boy oh boy would i love to go and work for the Mouse again! I think that's what instilled a love that wil always be there!! We too are travelling next year to the WORLD and will be there in November!
