One became SEVEN?!? How did THAT happen? 4/24 UPDATE

Oh my goodness Judy! That is some serious pixie dust. I am so glad you will be going to the parks for a couple days. It looks like it's warming up there too so I'm sure you will have some great time at the pool. Now just make sure you all stay well and I hope your foot is feeling better. Love the latest picture of Emile, Tracy. He is adorable and I'm happy he got to come home while you were there. I don't think there's anything better than snuggling a baby!

Emile is just the sweetest!

Ladylyons -that is so great you are doing well without Jeddah to help with your numbers. I'm pretty sure that was the best gift to your husband!

Judy Lisa is just the sweetest isnt she. Your trip is so close.

I have absolutely no idea what I wS trying to say here......

As a matter of fact, I do think that I heard the faint sound of screaming drifting along with the wind yesterday. :rotfl: Seriously, what a wonderful blessing! Seems like the Fairy Godmother sprinkled some serious pixie dust!
My Fairy Godmother is a great person and really good friend.
Judy, I always get excited to read other peoples good fortune. That is the best news I have heard all year. :goodvibes I can't think of anyone I would rather have it happen to, except for me. :rotfl2:
I do too, it make me happy!
So I only made it thru the first 2 pages of this thread...lol...yes it will take me forever to catch up...Wooohooooo for a Disney trip are you guys going to visit Give Kids the World...oh wait they are doing renovations this month...darn
I think one of the reasons she wanted to get us the tickets was BECAUSE GKTW is closed! So, as always, God worked it all out. If you want to skim the report, look for my blue and Tracy's purple font. Praying for you all!
Oh, Judy, that is wonderful news!!! We just got back from our trip to Tucson last night (turned out to be 19 hours in the car getting back, I think my neck will have a crick in it for a few days!) and I haven't caught up on the whole thread yet, just saw this newest page and I am sooooo excited for you all! I can't wait to see your updates from this trip. Prayers that everyone will stay healthy and feel their very best for this magical time!
I hope you are back in the swing of things today and feeling better! STAY HEALTHY PRAYERS are APPRECIATED as are all of the prayers!
Well that sure sounds like an awesome surprise, now everyone has to stay healthy and get packed for the trip!
Packing...it is just gong so slowly this go round, I think our 6 degree weather this AM froze my brain!
What wonderful pixie dust. :)
It surely was! Is Andy home safely???

What an incredible fairy godmother you have! That's so wonderful that you'll get two park days! That would be a HUGE surprise!!!!
It is INCREDIBLE!!! NOW we have so much to do our days are full!
Ahhhhh Judy!!! I am overjoyed at this news!!! So excited that you will get two days in Disney, you and your family completely deserve it. I hope your foot is feeling better. Can't wait to hear more updates!
YOu are such a doll for saying that, Thank you! Tracy has been a bit "indisposed" the past few days but she DOES know about the ticket...we need to plan!!!
I haven't checked in for awhile but I hope everyone is feeling better. Can't believe its just 1 more week until the big trip. What amazing pixie dust! What an incredible fairy godmother!

Little Emile is a cutie pie! Glad he is home!

Jill in CO
So good to see you Jill, I have missed you! We are truly blessed!!
Pixie Dust is the BEST!!!!!!
I SOOOO agree Rosie, what a surprise!
It sounds like great new on this thread! The baby going home and the Disney trip in jut a week. Now to pray for good weather for your trip.
It was -11 degrees with a wind chill of -34 when I left for school this morning. BRRRR! Our kids had a scheduled day off because of semester break so it was a work day for teachers. I don't mind going in on cold days when the kids get off because I can get so much done in the way of planning, cleaning, etc that I would have to stay after or go in early for. It will be good to see my kids tomorrow after 2weeks plus 1 day. It is hard to believe that the school year is half over already.
Have a great time on your trip.
I love good news! It is so uplifting. The extended forecast for the trip looks good thus far! I hope you had a great day back with your children, I know they were glad to see you! :goodvibes STAY WARM!

Your trip is so close and how excited those kids must have been.

I probably won't stop by before you go, so have a wonderful time!!!!!

Judy, That is amazing news. :yay: I am so happy for you, your family deserves pixie dust every day.
Pixie Dust is the BEST!!!! I want PD EVERY day it makes me smile. And YES, it would STILL be special if I got it every day!!! I get the opposite of PD every day...so why not...:confused3
Wow! What wonderful pixie dust you have been sprinkled with! pixiedust:

I have just about caught up on all the news. So glad to hear that Emile is home, what a cutie pie :goodvibes Now it's time for him to eat and grow, without the stress of the hospital!

Judy, I hope everyone is feeling well. I'm sure you're going to be busy with packing and preparing for the trip, among all your other regular duties this week. :crazy2: The good news is that there's a relaxing end in sight!:cool1:

Just a quickie update on Catherine. Her angiogram at CHOP didn't go as well as expected. She's a vascular access nightmare (I'm sure Lisa is as well!), so they had to do the renal angio from the brachial artery. Well, once they did the angioplasty on the severely stenosed renal artery, the vessel completely shut off...they weren't sure if it was a clot or vasospasm, so they treated her for both immediately--TPA, Nitroglycerin, more balloon--and finally they got partial flow back to the kidney. But it was scary, because she only has one kidney. Creatinine is still not back to normal, but function is hanging in there. We are hopeful things continue to improve, but we are one month out from the procedure, so I'm afraid this may be her new baseline. THen, when they pulled out the access from the brachial artery, she had developed a pseudoaneurysm up to her axilla! 90 minutes of ultrasound guided pressure to make that clot. She was under anesthesia for 9 hours this day. Lucky us, we got to spend the next 4 days in the CICU at CHOP. Normally for a renal procedure, we would have been in the PICU, but we were lucky that there wasn't any beds there, because we love the care and the nurses in the CICU! The worst part of all of this is that the procedure was hoped to improve her hypertension, but we are still on the same meds we started with. But, she feels good and is back to school and normal activities. It's been a rough fall with too many trips to Philly, but it's worth it for the care we are getting there. We go back up to see her nephrologist in a couple of weeks.

OKay--I will try to keep up here better!! I'm so excited for your trip!! :goodvibes
I am really excited about the Disney Days, it is going to be EPIC! We didn't get to do any parks with Tracy so this is gong to be so cool.

Laura, I have truly been worried about Catherine and I see now I had good reason to.:hug: Thank GOD for CHOP! At least we both know you are n the best hands there. When you didn't get back to updates I was concerned, I just pray that if this IS the new baseline that it will be pleasing to her body.
Lisa's numbers have said for over five years now she needs open heart number 4 and you may remember two weeks after the wish trip they thought we were having emergency OHS after they did the ECHO/CATH at CHOP. God has had different ideas and I pray that it will be the same for Catherine and she can continue her activities!:hug::hug:

Hi Judy!! Wow!! That is completely awesome!! I'm so glad that you and your family will be building some great memories and enjoying the parks as well. And only a week away!! :woohoo:

The craziness of packing and preparing for the week ahead is such a delight when it's travel to WDW! Praying that all goes well and you enjoy the anticipation.
You always get some incredible PD yourself I knew you would be thrilled for us! Thank you!

It is AMAZING NEWS, isn't it?!?!? Thanks for asking about my foot. My foot was so much better Monday AM after staying off of it so much this weekend and tonight it is right back to where it was. We have made the decision to rent a W/C for me. I couldn't rent it until we had the address...and I got it last night, but it was way too busy today to do it. I really hope I get a break tomorrow and am able to order it! I know it will help. I agree, snuggling babies is the BEST!
So excited and happy for you Judy (and family)...:woohoo:
Thank you Tammie!!! We are VERY thankful!
I have absolutely no idea what I wS trying to say here......
Whatever it meant Erin, it was written with concern and love! :goodvibes

I just grabbed a few quotes, I am NOT trying to miss anyone, I just need to get to bed.

Your trip is so close and how excited those kids must have been.

I probably won't stop by before you go, so have a wonderful time!!!!!
They WERE excited Erin, it was unbelievable! Thank you for the good wishes!!! So great to see you here! :goodvibes
Emile is adorable!!! Glad to hear he is home!

And you leave in 7 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That came so quickly! I hope you have a wonderful trip!

D~
It was a whirlwind, we just got back and here we go again.
Where is the place you are staying? We are looking to rent a place in June since we are taking my Mom, niece, and nephew. We would have to rent 2 hotel rooms which is so expensive. I am just not so sure of all the areas around Orlando so I am nervous about renting a house. Looking forward to reading the review of your place and maybe renting it if you like it.
We are staying in Indian Creek. We wil let you know our "assessment" when we get back, praying it is great, it looks to be really nice. It was nerve wracking to find a place.
Tracy, What a cute picture of Emile! Thanks for sharing it. In a week, you'll be meeting up with Judy and her family.

Judy, continue to get the rest you need and stay off your foot as much as possible. I know you have lots to do during the week plus making sure everyone is packed and ready for your trip.
Thank you sweet Gail, praying you are getting some sleep! Medical supplies and medicine is packed...I still go looking for the tube feeding "stuff" Praise God that is in the past! And of course I can't do the Bi-pap until Sunday morning. I hope to get Lisa's clothes started tomorrow.

GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!! :wave2: Dream of pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Diegosmom - Glad to hear Diego is doing better. Yeah for the wish trip!! Hope he get's to go to the batcave (SF did become Gotham City for a day last month so it's possible someone knows where the batcave is.) But if not the batcave LEGOLAND/Disney is a great trip too!!

Judy - OMG!! That's is some awesome news!!!! Such great pixie dust!!! The trip just got a little bit better!! No baby yet but I'll be sure to post (or have someone do it for me) just as soon as he decides to make his appearance.

Judy, So glad that you and the family are going to enjoy a few days at Disney World with Tracy. What great memories you all get to make together. Praying that this will be the beginning of a better year for the family! Glad your packing is progressing.

Been busy here with a new foster pup named Boomer that's 10 months old. We have decided to just keep him until the rescue couple moves into their new place. Tiffy isn't thrilled with having him here though. He just messes up her routine and she hasn't been eating much because he is a chow hound. Can't leave food around because he just gobbles it right up and she doesn't get a chance to eat. Finally got a good sleep last night. Took the dogs for a long walk in the afternoon. They both slept through the night.

Hope Make-a-Wish can make Diego's wish come true!

Praying for Catherine that her new norm will be managed well and her upcoming appointment will bring good news!

Praying for all the needs and requests too!

It surely was! Is Andy home safely???

Yes he did. They arrived at Dallas Airport at 6 a.m.; checked their luggage and then found out 20 minutes later their flight was cancelled. Him and his friend Joel flew standby to Kansas City; then they stood standby and flew to Milwaukee. From Milwaukee, they waited 90 minutes for the delayed Amtrak train and took that to our train station in Downtown Chicago. At 6:40 p.m., they got on the train from Downtown Chicago the suburbs. They were back in the burbs by 8:30 and he walked in at 10:00 (he and Des went to dinner first). It was a long day, but happy he got home safely. I don't know when he'll ever see his luggage (Mr. I only need a week's worth of underwear and socks had to go out and buy underwear and socks on our frigid Monday when school and work was closed :lmao:).

Your trip is getting closer and closer.

Judy, good idea to go ahead and rent the wheelchair. Get to packing woman! You'll be leaving in less than a week!

Well shoot Judy, its a balmy 41 in Gaffney right now so you should be about the same............GET PACKING, no brain freeze for you................get to work :) I guess Lisa can't pack for herself though, I can just see what she would pack..........ummm, stuffed animals, toys, princess stuff :) :) Maybe a few headbands and a tiara if she thought about it really hard!

I REALLY need a better year. My prayer has been Psalm 102:1-2 the past few days.

The children can't wait to see pics of Boomer!!

Praise God he made it home safely. I had to laugh about the undies comment, sounds like Christian:lmao:..David is on the entirely opposite end of the spectrum and he washes his own clothes every 4 days...and could probably go TWO weeks without a problem.
Judy, good idea to go ahead and rent the wheelchair. Get to packing woman! You'll be leaving in less than a week!
I need to get things in order for that. I was home this morning to call, but Christina had an important call and now I am out and unable to call...I need to be able to concentrate to. HOPEFULLY tomorrow!

Nope we are a balmy 44 right now! From your post when it snowed here (for and HOUR) and you got none, I know our weather is different...but not by much this time. ;)

They ALL can pack for themselves, but Lisa needs guidance...I give the older three a packing list...Rachel and David like to go though things with me, Christian handles it on his own...and Pete, well, lets just say he needs a bit of help too. Over the years we have had to buy shoes, socks, shirts, bathing suits, belts, shorts, etc when we travel...the day we got married I got a call VERY early in the morning that he needed black socks (we got married in Charlotte and lived at Camp Lejeune)...this was back before stores were open on a Sunday morning. I bought him socks at the Kroger Grocery, then had to take them to his sister at the hotel so he wouldn't see me. :lmao: That was only the beginning.

Crazy night! Lisa had ballet, Rachel had Veterinary Explorers AND it was Open Mic Night...I am hoping to get the videos uploaded they were A-MA-ZING! And I STILL managed to get the W/C ordered. :yay::woohoo::yay:

Yes it did just make your trip more Disneyfied. Hope everyone is feeling better and can't wait for you to get away from it all again.

Right now I've just been trying to get things done before the little one arrives. I bring the kids to school and as soon as I get home I put Disney Channel on for James and I go take a 2 hour nap before I have to go get Sarah from school (he does come get me if he needs something but for the most part he enjoys the time by himself too). Then once I get Sarah home I make lunch for the 3 of us and as soon as I'm done eating I start cleaning/sorting. Then I go get Jeremy about 2 hours later and once I get back home he gets snack and does homework and the other 2 go down for a nap and I go back to going through stuff. I've been really bad and have let our bedroom go and now I need to go through stuff and get it taken care of so we have room for the baby's co-sleeper, clothes in my dresser, and just overall cleaning. Tonight though I did get some me time. I've been wanting to go get my nails and toes done for a while and finally felt good enough to do it. It was a very nice and relaxing 2 hours that I was gone before I had to come back to the craziness that is my home.

Sounds like it!! Glad to hear that Lisa is back performing. Hope she's still doing good. Can't wait to see the video's. Of course you got the W/C ordered because your just that good!! :yay:

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Sorry I haven't been around much, I have been busy and without internet.

Sorry I don't have time for replies tonight but thanks for all the well wishes for Emile. He is doing great. Today was his due date! And tomorrow is his Brother's birthday. My sister says Emile didn't want to risk sharing a birthday or even want to share a birthday month that's why he came so early. ;)

I leave for Florida in 3 sleeps!!!! I am super excited but really unprepared :rotfl:

That is a great way to look at it, although I know big brother would NOT have minded sharing. Have fun celebrating and trying to get a little bit of sleep!

Prepared for Florida??? :lmao::lmao: I wil be working on plans today at Lisa's FIVE hour MD appt. Plus David has a class to acclimate him to two online courses this semester and Rachel has a three hour full dress rehearsal for the show Saturday...note to self, do NOT plan a trip the same week she has a big show... the youtube videos are still downloading... gosh that takes forever!

Glad Emile is doing so well.

Hope Rachel has a blast at her show!

It's starting to warm up here, 80's by Saturday. Happy packing and planning.

Judy, glad that you got the wheelchair ordered for your time in Orlando so that your foot can continue to get better. Can't wait to see the performances from Open Mic night!

I know you and Tracy will be ready for both your time in Orlando. Only 3 more days until you all meet up again!

Have fun Tracy celebrating Emile's big brother's birthday! :cake:
