One became SEVEN?!? How did THAT happen? 4/24 UPDATE

Judy, praying surgery isnt needed for a long, long time or better yet not at all. Love the walk t shirts. Glad it was such a good day and you got to meet some disers. Fun spot looks like fun and as usual I love all the pics inyour updates. I cant believe your trip is only 2 months away.

Tracy, I love Emiles quilt and I am so gladtohear how well heis growing. For a restaurant suggestion I loved breakfast at Tusker House in AK.

Beer and Gummy bears to fish...Beats worms! :rotfl2: WE used to use stew beef meat, they LOVED it! I know you are doing a great job of eating healthy, that can be the biggest chore, but it beats tons of needles. :grouphug: YEA for naps!!

That's exactly why I started using gummy bears. My dad told me I had to bait my own hook (he got tired of doing it after about the 8th or 9th fish I caught that day, we were fishing for catfish). I refused to put a worm on because ugh they do nasty things when the hook goes in to them!! I was not a girly, girly growing up but worms were just gross!! He thought that would slow me down. Nope I ended up catching the most that day!!! :rotfl2:

I'm doing better eating than I thought I would. According to my scale I've lost about 3 - 4 lbs but they told me that is normal so I'm not worried about it. I have found that any and all bread really skyrockets my numbers so I'm trying to keep even my wheat bread consumption down to the minimum. Still trying to find a happy balance but it's only been a week. We'll see what my Dr. says tomorrow. But yes eating better sure does beat a lot more needles.

Thank you Sandra, it was a nice weekend. Christian left straight from the walk to spend the weekend with friends (wasn't he nice to join us), so it was a little more quiet around my house, but we got a lot done.

Happy you guys were able to have a nice weekend. It was nice of Christian to spend time with you guys for the walk. It's a family event! I also got some stuff done (going through a closet that I've been wanting to do for a long time now. Finally had the energy to do it. Can't believe I found some Christmas Gifts the kids were supposed to get last year!!! :confused3 Guess they are getting them this year!! I buy things through out the year when I can get it on clearance. Also found the Little People Nativity Set I bought after Christmas a couple years ago for $5 (the price tag was still on it :rotfl: ) so that will be coming out this year for the kids to set up!!

Love the snow picture!! Stay safe!!

I am sooooo glad that we live in California and I don't have to deal with the snow. It's pretty to visit but not to keep.

Michele - I was going to say the exact same thing!! Even with the 3.0 and 2.9 earthquake I've had to deal with over the last few days (they were literally less than a mile away from us)!!! We are ok and no damage or anything so that's always a good thing.

It snowed really hard for thirty minutes, then began to taper off and it had completely stopped within an hour, with absolutely no accumulation (which is exactly what we all expected). For us, it is fun to see snow, especially in November. It is a novelty around here and extremely rare for it to stick. I would NOT be happy to live in an area where snow on the ground most of the winter is the norm. I do enjoy a good snowfall that sticks around for a day or two (as long as we don't have to go anywhere) then disappears. Today we have record breaking temperatures this morning, it is 25 degrees and for me that is to cold.

I hope you all have a fabulous, stress-free day. I will be dreaming of Florida and thinking of my children's smiling, fun-filled faces. :flower3: FYI, The Fun Spot has an UNBELIEVABLE special coming up for the "black friday" holiday. $90 annual passes for BOTH the Orlando and Kissimmee locations. It would pay for itself after 2 visits, what a deal..

*********************************************

Judy, I'm glad you guys had a fun and successful walk! Some great outfits, and I love the princess crowns on the girls princess:

Tracy, that's a gorgeous quilt! I'm sure that Emile will cherish it for a long time!
Thank you Courtney, it was great to be at the walk. We didn't raise as much money as we had last year, then I remembered we had donated our van to MAW, which actually gave them more than we were able to last year. Thank you for donating to our team. :thumbsup2

It was fun to dress what Lisa's had wished for. I should wear a crown every day. :rotfl:

Wow you 2 have been busy!!!

Tracy, glad to hear you made it home safely!!! As others have said I'm sure your sister felt blessed to have you there!!!! Don't forget to snap some pictures for us on your next visit!!! :goodvibes I was so happy to read that he is doing well and growing!!! :thumbsup2 Continuing to pray!!! I love love love the quilt!!! What a need talent you have!!! I wish we had an aunt Tracy in my family!!!! :goodvibes:rotfl:

The best table service restaurant is an interesting question and I am enjoying the responses!!!

Judy, I love the pictures from the Make a Wish Walk!!! :cheer2: That is so amazing that your family gives back in that way!!! Hugs and prayers to you and for your medical needs.

Madeline
Madeline, did you all eat at a TS restaurant service on Mallory's wish, I can't remember. We ate at CRT, which was so incredible, they treated us like royalty, thanks to Morgan, Sheridee's daughter.

We are so blessed to be able to do the MAW walk and to volunteer at GKTW. We don't have money, but we can give of our time. I am thankful that all four of our children believe it is important to do that.

We are blessed to have an Aunt Tracy...even if she IS in an entirely different country! We were talking about the trip last night after the girls got home from music and I told them I posted pics of the Fun Spot and I wish we could do it again. Rachel said, me too it was fun. But Mom, what I am most excited about is spending time with Tracy. Got to love it!!!

Thank you for your prayers! I am glad to see you here, I always worry when you are gone a few days. I know you are busy though with work, family and homeschooling, plus all of the medical stuff!

Judy, sounds like you have had a couple of really great weekends. I didn't make it the dis at all last week. I am working regularly again, Monday and Friday nights, so hopefully I won't be as stressed out about money. Glad that all of your test came back mostly okay, and hope that you don't have to have surgery anytime soon.

Tracy, glad to hear that your nephew is continuing to improve.

Thoughts and prayers to all that need them.

Marilyn
Marilyn, so thankful you have steady work two days a week, I know it helps a bit. Thank you for your good wishes and prayers. Praying your dad is getting back to his normal without too much difficulty.
Don't hurt to try.

Love the quilt!! It looks great (even with the colors being off).

Judy great picture from the walk!! I'm so glad you guys get to do that to support Make a Wish! I thought I'd share what our local city is doing for a 5 year old little boy who has leukemia for his wish. Really wish I could go but just not going to work out right now (but my friend who makes the capes is getting a group together to go and support him). http://sf.wish.org/wishes/wish-stories/i-wish-to-be/wish-to-be-batkid
I LOVED this story about the little Make a Wish child, I read it yesterday and it just put a huge smile on my face, what a great time he will have! I have read about wishes like this before and I KNOW he will have a memory to make him happy on many tough days. Lisa was going to wear her cape this past Saturday :goodvibes, however, it didn't fit well with her jacket.

For some reason quotes aren't showing up when I use the app. I am so glad everyone had a marvelous time at the Walk! Tracy, the quilt looks lovely.

One restaurant. I would suggest Cape May character breakfast. At a resort so it could be done a down day, interaction is always great (Donald, Minnie, and Goofy) and the buffet is yummy.

Judy, Bill will not be home for the holidays but will be able to do the Glass Slipper Challenge with me next year. :)
Cape May sounds fun. :thumbsup2

I am sorry Bill will not be home for Christmas. :grouphug::grouphug: Pete was gone for Christian's first Christmas and it was hard. I didn't even want to celebrate, it surely didn't feel like Christmas. I hope since Kaity is older, it will help you feel some of the wonder of the season. I am sure you will be spending it with family; however, if not you are welcome to come here. :goodvibes :grouphug:
Judy - I am falling apart at the seams!!!! But when I typed that comment on Friday night I really didn't think that I would be able to come to the walk, I promise I was not being sneaky;) But Saturday morning I was awake, it was nice out and most importantly of all, I was in far less pain than the night before so I knew I could at least come up to Concord and meet everyone, I wasn't sure I would walk until I got there and walked around a little bit, at that point my body was willing, my mind was willing and I thought I could do it...............Now, at the end of the first lane I wasn't so sure, when I rounded the corner to start back and my poor eyes could BARELY see the end, I wasn't real sure that I would make it back but I just kept going. I know I slowed down your gang but I am so appreciative that they stuck with me and we just kept chugging along. It was so much fun talking to the kids, each one of them has different thoughts that's for sure :) Princess Lisa didn't talk as much as I thought she would, I hope she is ok? I know her leg was bothering her and I fully understand that concept! It was so funny hearing the Christian and Rachel "agree to disagree" about something we were talking about, I think it was computers vs music :)

I have thought of yet another dining choice that I had completely forgotten about..............Hoop Dee Doo at FW!!! REALLY good food, LOTS of it and the show is FUNNY and more!

I figure if I put one meal in a post then Tracy won't realize that I have given more than one choice :rotfl2:
I certainly didn't feel as if you were stalking us, lol. It was great to meet you and I am proud of you for chugging along. I always say my children have their own views/ideas and they quite often don't mesh with mine. Often you will hear children who parrot what the parents think, you definitely will not find that with my brood. :rotfl2: I have raised them to be independent thinkers...and they are. :rolleyes2

We wanted to do Hoop De Doo on this last trip, but the price was  Looks like fun though!
Hi Judy. Looks like your family had a lot of fun on your walk. Hope you're feeling a little better today. We are having a wonderful time at Disney. We went to MVMCP and other than some rude people while we were watching the castle lighting and fireworks, it was great. We had a bench that we staked out way ahead of time and at the last minute people were trying to climb up by us. My dh and the older guy on the other side kept saying no. One guy with his little girl on his shoulders just climbed up, which wasn't too bad until his teenage son tried to climb up too. I was video taping and he bumped me and I said something so he got down. I just wanted to mention that I think you can just order desserts at BOG. You order by yourself and you don't even need to buy drinks as they have free ice water. It's worth going just to see it. We sat in what is called the West Wing I think. Although it is dark, it was so neat. After we were done we walked around and took pictures of the other rooms, and even the bathroom. ;)

I am so happy you are having a great time, but :crazy2: to the rude folks, I am glad you aren't letting that ruin your time though.

Is it crowded at Disney right now??

I LOVE the idea of just getting desserts at BOG, I had NO idea! That is a great suggestion, THANK YOU! We had tried to get in to see the castle on our trip; however, we were very full and didn't want to eat lunch. I wish the person at the front who was "guarding" the entrance had suggested that, we could have come back for a late lunch sitting and had dessert.:thumbsup2 We never get dessert at WDW (except in Epcot occ.) so this would be a treat.

You are so funny Judy.
Two Months, it will be here before you know it. :woohoo:
Funny, that is me. :lmao:

Being here before I know, it, that is what I am worried about...SIXTY DAYS!!! :faint::faint:

Loved seeing all the happy smiling faces from the pictures of your time at Fun Spot! Judy, glad you had a chance to have a nice relaxing time in the jacuzzi tub. :thumbsup2 That's how I like snow to last too. I'll have to give you a call this weekend to update you on Billy's doctor appointment.

Just a little rant...Christian just got his car back YESTERDAY from the mechanics and last night it was having problems...took it BACK to the mechanics and it needs $400 more worth of work...seriously.

Okay, rant over...so many don't have a place to live/sleep and don't know where their next meal is coming from, this is just a lack of money thing for us...

Wow snow n NC....we had a little today but in Vermont we expect it. It is very cold here
Judy, I could NOT do Vermont! I would freeze and be so miserable with all of the snow. You get to escape to warmer weather soon though! :yay:
Judy, I will have to go back and catch up later this week; I just skimmed this page. Looks like your kiddos had fun at the Fun Spot! Sorry to hear today wasn't so good for you all, we'll continue to pray for you.

We had a WONDERFUL visit with my parents. We didn't really do anything to extraordinary, mostly just hung out together. My dad did some Mr. Fixit-type stuff for me since David has been working awful hours lately and hasn't had a chance to get to some little projects yet. Mom and I went "browsing" together (I call it that because we like to go shopping together but rarely buy anything!), and they bought the kids Monsters U so we all had a movie night one night that was fun. I am so sad now that they had to go home, but we have the holidays coming to cheer us up! Mom showed me how to make some fancy crocheted fluffy scarves when she was here, so I have been working on those as Christmas gifts for all the teachers, etc.

Ezra has been doing fantastic at school lately. I am pretty sure it is due to his wearing compression shirts under his uniform. He is so sure they help that he asked for compression pants, too. I bought him some this morning and he wore them to school this afternoon and had his best day in 2 weeks! His teacher even remarked on how suddenly his behavior had changed for the better, so that is encouraging. Ezra even insisted on keeping them on under his play clothes when he changed after school today.

David is pretty sick. He is at the doctor right now trying to get some meds. His asthma is acting up and his biggest meeting of the year is on Thursday, but he hasn't slept in a week due to coughing, so hopefully he will get some prednisone or something to help with the cough so he can make it to the meeting.

There is a lot to catch up on, although I have been better about not spilling my guts to you all! :rolleyes1

I would LOVE to make those scarves, what a great idea/gift! :thumbsup2

So happy you had a good visit with your parents and that Ezra is doing better! :goodvibes

Looks like they really enjoyed the Fun Spot. Like you, we've driven by it countless times, but unlike you, we've never stopped there. Love the go cart for two! That umbrella ride use to be a fair favorite for me, I don't think I could stomach that anymore.

SNOW?! BRRRRRR!!!
Is it cold there this AM, my friend at GKTW said it was "freezing"...Florida should be warm!!

The Fun Spot was a blast, even for me!

A story about the paratrooper...when Pete and I were dating we went to White Lake with my parents. They have carnival rides and there was the old red and white paratrooper ride, twice as big as they are now. It became apparent DURING our ride that the operator was high as a kite and as our car careened faster and faster, sticking straight out and we screamed for him to stop (he had it at full throttle) I fully expected to die on that ride or be severely injured. I was praying like I had never prayed before to get off that ride. When he FINALLY stopped it (about ten minutes later, no exaggeration, someone had to make him stop the ride, he was laughing crazily), Pete and I fell off and kissed the ground as we lay there trying to recover. I vowed to NEVER get on one again and I never have. I also check out ride operators now before I ride or the children do, it can be scary. I was VERY impressed with the professionalism and safety at the Fun Spot....lots of safety measures in place, including preprogramed ride times and safety managers who came by frequently to check on the rides.

Funny thing about THIS paratrooper...Rachel has sensory issues and spinning makes her sick typically...this was 2 months after Rachel's concussion and she tolerated it better than she ever has, go figure...

Praying you are having a great day!

Please do call Gail, we haven't talked in too long Saturday is my Uncle's memorial service, but otherwise just our typical weekend stuff.

The Fun Spot was, well FUN! But I DID prefer the jacuzzi, you could watch TV from the tub, listen to music or just veg out!

And snow that comes and goes is the BEST for me!

Praying for you and Billy! :flower3:

66 for the high here today, brrr. I'd never make it colder. And the wind is really blowing. But the sun is shining.

JJ is 3 days seizure and tic free. Last night he did choke while taking his capsule and once again I had to do the Heimlich. That makes 5 times since August. DH says that the med does not come in liquid. I'm going to try in applesauce tonight like we do his vitamins that are too big to swallow.

I would just die about the paratrooper ride. Did it go front and backwards then too at those high speeds?? Yikes. I'd kiss the ground too.

That is interesting about Rachel's equilibrium. I'm glad it didn't get her sick. And you said she was fine the night we were together. That place is high sensory, gives me a headache, but is so much fun.

Off to OT this morning. Theater tonight. Next week is show time!

Your bills are never ending Judy, I am sorry to hear about the return trip to the mechanic.

That paratrooper ride made me :scared1:. I am glad you and Pete made it off safely, I would have kissed the ground myself.

The pics from the Fun Spot are great! My kiddos would love a place like that as well!! :goodvibes I would likely make the same choice as you, and relax in the jacuzzi with peace and quiet for just a few minutes. Sounds perfect:thumbsup2.
Sorry to hear about the results, but hoping and praying that the need for surgery goes away.
60 days?! Yikes! We did a few TS meals on Cat's MAW trip. Let's see...we did CRT like you, but I'm not sure I'd repeat that one. We love 50's Prime Time Cafe...it's one of our faves. I also really enjoyed breakfast at Tusker House. Crystal Palace is a fun choice, too. Whoops! I just picked more than one! :rotfl: Somewhere I've not been that I'd love to try is O'hana.
We're gearing up for a Girl Scout overnight this weekend, which hopefully will be a fun treat for Catherine before we head to CHOP next Wednesday. She's had this nagging cold/congestion. No fever, but I sure hope it doesn't delay her procedure. We need to get that kidney perfused better again!
We hoped for a few of those snowflakes here yesterday, but got nothing. It sure is chilly though!

Thanks! Had a great day off and the ceremony was nice.
Sorry about the mechanic fiasco :scared:

I am glad you had a good Monday and ceremony. :goodvibes Even if the sun is far away...

I know! It's going to come so fast!!!! :eek :faint:
I STILL can't believe it. I emailed you we had 60 days...it is really 61, I lived two days yesterday...:sad1:
WOW!!!

Love the fun spot photos! Looks like a fun day!
:thumbsup2
I could see you zipping around the go-cart track with the kids!!

Did YOU have any snow yesterday????

I am sooooo glad that we live in California and I don't have to deal with the snow. It's pretty to visit but not to keep.
If I had to live with it I would be :crazy2:

Updated with house pictures.

Thought and prayers to all!
So Thankful everyday brings progress to your house! :flower3:

I love the pictures of the Fun Spot and how your children always look so happy no matter what they are doing. :goodvibes

Fun snow picture. :goodvibes
My children have a good time and that makes ME smile! I always say it is a party wherever we go. :rotfl2:

No snow today but is IS cold (It is currently up to a balmy 39 degrees). Lisa needs a new coat I discovered. Not sure about Rachel yet...
Aren't you glad that on the not-so-great days you have the happy memories to look back on? The kids were having such a good time at the park and it shows in their expressions.
Lisa, I am SO incredibly thankful for the blessings of good, exciting memories and smiling, happy faces! I know you feel the same way. :goodvibes
Tracy: That beautiful quilt is such a great labor of love for Emile! What a lovely gift! All these years later I have saved every baby quilt made for my children since they are such special heirloom gifts. :goodvibes I hope to hand them down for my grandbabies!
I LOVE this, I feel the same way!!
Judy: The kids definitely looked like they had fun at the Fun Spot. Personally I like your bubble bath idea... ahhhh relazation!

I would love to live somewhere where there's snow. At least until I had to shovel it or drive in it. ;)
You are welcome to come visit and we could do the snow dance to see if we could get any to fall and stick. :thumbsup2 I could see you having fun in the snow!!

I had the best of both world,s the Fun Spot was fun, then I was able to relax in a quiet villa and a HUGE tub!. I honestly had bubbles HIGHER than my head! I was in a cocoon, thanks to the whirlpool jets my bubbles.

Judy, I'm sorry it wasn't a good news day.

I loved the Fun Spot updates...looks like the kids were having a really great time.
Thanks Kathy, today has only been half as difficult as yesterday so that is good. I know you understand tough days too.

The more I think about it the more I wish we could go back to the Fun Spot, it was great and their Black Friday special is fabulous!

Thank you for the prayers Krystal, I am just glad I have no real pain right now. We love pics, just like you (hint hint). I can't believe we leave in 61 days! :faint:

I have heard good things about Tusker House, but AK is a hard park to navigate with a W/C and heat intolerant folks.
:rotfl2:
That is why I LOVED stew Beef, no worms for me! Rachel used to not mind, I have no idea what she would do with worms now. :rotfl2: Lisa isn't doing worms, I can tell you that with certainty!

YEA!!! I do love my carbs though, that is hard. I am proud of you!

Stay safe!!

Christian is a good guy and really loves spending time with us, I am blessed. I LOVE the LP nativity set, What a great price! I have always wanted one, but they are so expensive.

Michele - I was going to say the exact same thing!! Even with the 3.0 and 2.9 earthquake I've had to deal with over the last few days (they were literally less than a mile away from us)!!! We are ok and no damage or anything so that's always a good thing.
OOH, sorry about the Earthquakes, so glad there was no damage. :grouphug: I hadn't heard about them, I live under a rock sometimes....

66 for the high here today, brrr. I'd never make it colder. And the wind is really blowing. But the sun is shining.
My friend was working GKTW at the corral and she said it was "freezing and windy"...I understand! I like warm weather better myself!
JJ is 3 days seizure and tic free. Last night he did choke while taking his capsule and once again I had to do the Heimlich. That makes 5 times since August. DH says that the med does not come in liquid. I'm going to try in applesauce tonight like we do his vitamins that are too big to swallow.
Praise God for seizure free/tic free days!! We have already had the talk about my tip for taking pills, so I will spare you. Pryaing the applesauce works.
I would just die about the paratrooper ride. Did it go front and backwards then too at those high speeds?? Yikes. I'd kiss the ground too.
Front and Backwards, it was one of the most scary moments...even all these years later it brings fear to my heart.
That is interesting about Rachel's equilibrium. I'm glad it didn't get her sick. And you said she was fine the night we were together. That place is high sensory, gives me a headache, but is so much fun.
It has been strange, the concussion helped some things and not others and as she improves, things are reverting back.
Off to OT this morning. Theater tonight. Next week is show time!
I hope all went well. YEA for shows, all the hard work has a happy ending!!
Your bills are never ending Judy, I am sorry to hear about the return trip to the mechanic.

That paratrooper ride made me :scared1:. I am glad you and Pete made it off safely, I would have kissed the ground myself.
They are never ending...as we were leaving the MAW walk on Saturday we passed lots of RV's that were there for the cars races/shows. David asked how do people afford things like this (some of the RV's had prices displayed more than our house costs :scared1:). I told him if we didn't have massive medical bills, we could buy things like that...it makes a difference.

AH, the paratrooper..I have a million nutty stories like that. God has certainly taken good care of me!
The pics from the Fun Spot are great! My kiddos would love a place like that as well!! :goodvibes I would likely make the same choice as you, and relax in the jacuzzi with peace and quiet for just a few minutes. Sounds perfect:thumbsup2.

Your littles would like the Fun Spot, it was a good time...so was my bubble bath!
Sorry to hear about the results, but hoping and praying that the need for surgery goes away.

Thank you! :goodvibes

60 days?!

You can pick as many you you want.

CRT was great for breakfast, but the price!!! :scared1::scared1: We had excellent service. Loved, CP and O'hana had a great breakfast, but our service left a lot to be desired both places...we seem to have a recurirng theme at Disney TS...we either have FABOULUS service or really lousy service. I often think when they know we have 6 and they have an 18% gratuity already, service is less then stellar...although my next update might belie that theory. :lmao: It could just be us. :confused3

I pray Catherine doesn't get ill. that you have a fun weekend and she gets her procedure as needed. We are claiming that for all of you!!! I am not sorry to be up our way, as cold as it is here, I know it is colder there! I am just thankful you have CHOP so close to provide excellent medical care. My prayers ARE being said for all of you!

Just popping in to say hi and agree that mechanic bills totally SUCK! Oh wait, I don't think that you put it quite that way but I don't speak as eloquently as you so I'm sticking with they SUCK! :lmao:

Tell David that the people who have all of those "nice things" don't have it any better than we do. They just have different kind of bills to pay.

It's been a might cold here in our neck of the woods. A chilly 49 degrees as our high and a low of 28 tonight. We built our first fire in the wood stove last night and it felt so good warming my tootsie toes by the fire.

We all slept in late, then headed to DTD. It was overcast and clearly going to rain (didn’t even need the weather man to tell us, though it was forecast). We dropped the older three off, took a few pics and I kissed them goodbye and we were off in search of a parking spot. Ressies didn’t line up quite the way I had wanted today; however, it actually worked out for the best with the rain. We were thirty minutes early for lunch at The Rainforest Cafe. We had decided to splurge since there were only three of us (half the price for us, since we didn’t have the older three). It was foggy and misty, as you can see from the pics of Lisa outside the restaurant. It was finally our turn to be seated. It was loud, but okay for us. The tables were neat, ours were two different patterns, pushed together (pics below). We had been told to look out for the show, which happens every twenty minutes and we had just missed it, according to the person who seated us. We FINALLY placed our order (our server was apparently very busy, we didn’t see her but twice the entire meal, she took our order and brought our check. Forget getting refills (Pete and I were drinking water). Someone else brought out our meal. As we waited the big show happened. I was a bit surprised, I didn’t think that was what they were talking about. Pete and I were discussing if that indeed was the show, and Lisa said “ Oh it was great.” I asked her is she liked it and she said, ‘Yes mom, that was a fabulous show,” then she paused and added... “for a five year old”. That became our tag line for the week and how we gaged all the rest of the activities that week...was it for a five year old or someone older...gave us lots of laughs. We all three had a burger, Lisa had OR, Pete and I had fries and to be honest, I didn’t find anything special about the meal...I would not wait in line to eat there, nor would I pay that amount of money for a burger at Rainforest Cafe again, but that is just me. The service was lacking, it was loud and the show was perfect if you were five...sums it up for me! Nothing bad, it just didn't "WOW" me for the money. I would happily go to Earl of Sandwich over this restaurant, have a better sandwich and spend a lot less. Thank goodness for Disney Gift Cards from our insurance company...I miss that perk!

The good news was, Lisa and I couldn't eat all of our burgers, so we had food for later. Pete didn't have this problem. :lmao:

if you LIKE Rainforest Cafe, please tell me what you enjoy eating.

Hello my dear friend. Yes, mechanics bills don't make me happy. Pete had two cars to look at after work, both sold before he could get there. One of these days.

David knows he has a good life, he just can't fathom how others have money for toys like that...his world is so B&W. Different bills for fun stuff is so much better than medical bills! :thumbsup2 But YOU are well aware of those medical bills too.

We got up to 42 today and I am NOT a happy Southern girl, it is too cold for November! Ahh, I wish our FP worked, it would feel so good to knock the chill off!

I only remember going to the Rainforest Cafe once and I didn't particularly like it. I like Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD. Sorry you had a bad experience! :(

I am getting excited for my trip...two weeks from tomorrow! Things have been very busy and overwhelming at school. I've been burning the candle at both ends and I miss my family, so this is much needed! So soon!!!

Oh No! I'm sorry that your Rainforest Café experience wasn't the greatest. We've always had good luck with our meals and waitress (or waiters) there. I do have to agree that the price is pretty expensive but it's what comes with the Disney price, I guess. I also have to agree that the "show" ain't that much of a show. It's kinda odd that they'd even call it that.

Shoot! One of these days the right car is going to come to ya'll. Just gotta keep the eyes and ears open.

We have not dined at Wolfgang Puck, I ned to try that. I just LOVE EoS, their holiday sandwich is fabulous, as is there...the name escapes me...I am getting old...:rotfl: It wasn't bad, just not good.

I just signed your TR (Your Famous :love:) in between cooking (Christian took Lisa to ballet for me). I know it is a hard time of year at school, then to be away from your family AND having a trip you want to hurry and get here and missing your Grammy. :grouphug::grouphug: You will be enveloped in Family and Disney love VERY soon!! :goodvibes

It wasn't bad, just not great (excellent word). Only thing that made it memorable was my little munchkin. :goodvibes She was so funny and of course, she got her all important meat, so she was happy. She kept us laughing the whole meal, so that was fun. I was surprised when the "show" happened...we had two different folks at the restaurant tell us about the show...:rotfl2:

What do you enjoy eating at the Rainforest? Have you ever tried T-Rex?

I keep telling myself every time we miss out on a car that it wasn't meant to be, but I am tired of all of the extra driving, worrying, etc...seems to be wearing on me this week more. :rotfl2: I blame it on not feeling my best.
