Once you close, do you get anything in mail?

I've always paid cash, so if you finance it might be different. I've always receive my recorded deed in the mail a month or so after closing.

After closing we received (1) the last signed page of our purchase contract, (2) the signed receipt for the member benefits guide, and (3) the signed settlement statement.

We did not receive the deed yet, although this could be because we financed. Hopefully, we'll receive the deed in a few months when we've paid in full.

In a separate envelope we received our financing approval. We separately received our membership cards.

We did an add on at AKV in June that closed July17. Paid cash. We just received an envelope this week with our deed in it. No other goodies. When we originally purchased we received the DVC beach bag with our document.

We received numbers 1, 2 and 3 together within a week of closing. However, before closing (within a week of returning the signed documents) we received our temporary membership cards. And few days later the temporary user name and password. Since we paid cash we received the deed about six weeks after closing. Our plastic membership cards came weeks later possibly even after the deed arrived. The last item we received was our first issue of Disney Files, it was the Fall 2009 issue and we received it the same time as everyone else did. (We did not receive a Summer issue even though we purchased in May 2009.) Oh I forgot we have received a couple of DVC emails, but I can only remember one of them as it was the "Offer for Family and Friends" to stay cheap at SSR if they take the tour.
