On the trips when my DD was 5 and 6, Stitch's Great Escape was her favorite ride. It probably helped that we had gone to the character breakfast at 'Ohana before riding it. Stitch had stolen her fork at the character breakfast and hid it from her, and she thought that was the funniest thing. So when we went on the ride, she just knew that Stitch was going to play another joke on her. She loved it! She kept saying, "That silly Stitch!" So for that reason, the ride is special to me.
The only ride I can think of that I would not want to go on again is Body Wars. I liked the ride. It just made me queasy. I had a little bit of a problem on Star Tours, too, but Body Wars was the worst.
I even rode Mission Space several times when it first opened (before it was tamed down), and it never made me feel as badly as Body Wars. What kept me coming back to Mission Space was that feeling that you really were blasting off into space. It was awesome. I would still ride it again, even though I haven't been on it since 2003, because my daughter is a little young for it. But I do remember feeling dizzy when I exited the ride. Do they still offer the wild version, or is it only the tamed down version now? I have never been on the tamed down version. I should probably try it now that my daughter is six (almost seven).
For the most part, I have avoided Body Wars and Star Tours and all simulator rides like them. They give me motion sickness, and it is not worth it. I have found that it is not so bad if I keep my eyes closed throughout the entire ride, but what is the point of that?
I may try the new Star Tours that is supposed to open soon at DHS. It's crazy for me to risk getting motion sickness, but I don't want to miss out on the experience. I want to try everything at least once! I will say that I love the Tower of Terror! It has always been so much fun!
