Once Upon A Time

maybe Bae is also peter pan ( lost boy) and that was wendy talking to him in the flash back......and August i still think is pinnochio

Nice catch about the donkey. I agree that August could be Pinocchio.

I also like the theory that Bae could be Henry's father.

I missed the donkey paperweight, good catch! One thing I was wondering about was when Gold went to see Hopper. I had read a blog blurb saying to pay attention to what was near Gold right before he goes into the office, so I did. The only thing I saw was when the camera lingered on a picture of a ship on the wall. I suppose that could lean towards Peter Pan, but then again, it relates to Pinocchio as well. I just want to know already, LOL!

EOnline: Once Upon a Time shocking news.....

Please, give me some good scoop on Once Upon a Time! Will we see Belle again?

Yes, you will. And here’s even better scoop: Someone completely majorly shocking will die in the last three episodes of the season. It’s the kind of death you can’t imagine could possibly stick!

And did anyone else assume that Katherine was with Belle when she described being locked up and drugged?

I had thought that as well. The problem I'm having with it is that is seems that Mr. Gold was the one who freed Katherine and I didn't think he knew about Belle being locked up/ wouldn't want her to be locked up.

Does anyone have a theory about how the characters don't seem to age? I mean, Henry obviously has and so has Emma, but what about everyone else? They've been in SB for 28 years, but yet Hansel and Gretel are still kids, and all the other characters are the same age (or roughly the same) as when we saw them in their backstory.

Henry was born outside of FTL, so that could explain his aging, but Emma was born in FTL, but yet she aged 28 years. Why hasn't anyone else? Is that part of being caught up in the curse, that they remain the same as they did when they were torn out of FTL? That seems to make the most sense. Does Emma age because she was saved from the curse by being transported in the box Gepetto made?

And, if Baelfire is somewhere in our world, is he still 12 years old or has he aged 28 years? Since he didn't leave FTL because of a curse, does that mean he would age naturally?

We watched last Sunday's episode with my parents, who are visiting. They have never seen OUAT, but my mom loved it. They were very confused, though, and seemed to be stuck on the aging thing, which really got me thinking about it. Funny, because up until their visit I never really thought about it. I've been more focused on who the stranger is!

And, btw, I really hope he is not Pinocchio. That's a good theory and it makes a lot of sense based on the clues given, but I want him to be someone really surprising. I think the clues pointing towards Pinocchio are a little obvious, which is disappointing to me. I'm really hoping the writers are sending us in the wrong direction and that his real identity will shock the daylights out of everyone. I want to have that jaw dropping moment where I get goosebumps when his identity is revealed, the same way I did when I heard Mr. Gold say his name was Rumple. I'm trying to keep my expectations low, so I'm not too disappointed, but it's hard! I learned my lesson with that during the last season of Lost!

A question for "Lost" fans - I didn't watch it that much.

Given that this is from the people who brought us "Lost", do you think it is that easy that August is Pinocchio? Everything seems to be pointing to it, but will it be that easy - or should we expect a major curve ball instead? Thanks!:)

Umm...I think you are giving too much credit to the people that are from Lost. :goodvibes There were a lot of people working on that show and 2 of the writers (not main ones by any stretch) are producing this show (not writing it). ABC makes it sound like the creators of Lost created OUAT, but totally not so. So I don't think know Lost would help us guess. I do remember them making something seem stupid obvious and then it not be, but I think most mysterious shows do that. Heck, they did it in the last episode!:thumbsup2

The Lost writers threw me for a loop every week. I think my jaw hit the floor at the end of every episode. However, I was never one of those who tried to figure the show out or decipher every clue. I just went along for the ride. I'm doing the same with this show. I just want to enjoy it.

I don't want August to be Pinocchio for one silly reason; the promos show Pinocchio as a ginger and August is clearly NOT. That inconsistency will drive me nuts.

I agree. If Mr Gold made her disappear and if he kept her in the psych ward then wouldn't he have noticed Belle? I think he just had her in his own basement. In skin deep it seemed like Rumple owns the cabin the woods where Mary Margaret and David were. If it's got a basement thats my guess where he kept her.

Lots of blondes and gingers end up with brown hair by the time they reach adulthood so it doesn't seem so farfetched to me.

I think nobody aged, since the clock never moved on their tower until Emma showed up. Now that time has started again, in theory people should be able to age.

The age thing does seem kind of weird. If Henry grows and ages wouldn't that be weird to be a toddler and then a little kid and grow and age and then eventually become bigger and older looking than all the other kids you know in your town. Bet they didn't think of that concept when they thought up this people not aging thing.:confused3

ETA- seriously, how does that work? Do all the kids just keep doing the same grade over and over never aging or moving up to the next grade?

Got it! I had read replies elsewhere that basically said "you have to realize this is from the people of "Lost". So, I assumed there would be more to it. Thank you for clarifying!:)

There are pictures of Regina next to a broken mirror. Could something happen to Sydney?

Watched some clips on abc's website...
clues to play with?

Valentine's day episode: Gold and David in store. Mexico sticker on the convenience store door? Quite odd...

Stranger comes to town:
August is wearing two necklaces - ?? they are pendants, but couldn't determine what they were.
Emma says, "Have you been here before?" He responds: "I didn't say that."

Giancarlo Esposito, the actor who plays Sydney, will be on a new show called Revolution; since someone big will die before the season ends, he would be my guess. He "confessed" to kidnapping Katherine, so they'll probably have him commit suicide (will Regina's help no doubt).
