Once Upon A Time Season 4 "Let's Hope You Didn't Bring Anything ELSA Back"

I loved seeing Rumple's swagger at the end!!!

I have watched every episode of OUAT and it amazes me sometimes how much they pack into an episode. I actually don't remember Hook trapping the fairies in the Sorcerer's Hat.

Loved the stop motion effects of Chernabog - brought back memories of old Ray Harryhausen movies. Any ideas who the "Author" might be?

I find the Ursula character a little flat, but love the lady playing Cruella Deville.

I am convinced the author is August (Pinocchio). If you remember, he added to the book a couple of seasons ago. Don't know who the sorcerer could be - any ideas?

I remember that, but August is now a little boy again and it seemed like the main Fairy had reason to fear the Author.

Kind of an interesting list of possible of writers of the book and the sorcerer could be.

ABC's hit fairytale drama "Once Upon a Time" is already midway through the season and there are so many questions! Like who is the author of Henry's story book? Plus who is this almighty and powerful sorcerer? We don't actually have the answers to these questions (because if we did we'd spoil the show for you) but we've got a few good ideas. Check out these top theories on who is the sorcerer supreme and who wrote the book.

Merlin "The Sword in the Stone" - Merlin is a powerful wizard master from Disney's "Sword in the Stone" film. Merlin does not appear on the show. However, it is established in season 3, that he lives in Fairytale Land where he enchanted the sword Excalibur and hid it in Camelot. If anyone can wield power such as the hat it is him!

Sorcerer Mickey Mouse "Fantasia" - This would obviously have to be a human version of Mickey Mouse but the hat does belong to this character. Sorcerer Mickey is one of the most powerful characters in the Disney universe. Sorcerer Mickey can bring objects to life, control water and fire, fly, levitate, and more. Sorcerer Mickey most famous ability is the power to control water. Sorcerer Mickey was also shown to control the stars and comets.

Madam Mim "The Sword in the Stone" - Madam Mim is the main antagonist of "Sword in the Stone" and claims to be just as poweful as Merlin. She is an expert in dark magic and has the ability to harness such power as the hat.

Hades "Hercules" - The greek god of the underworld and main antagonist from Disney's "Hercules" movie. This guy definitely has the goods to wield an all powerful hat.

Jafar "Aladdin" - This would be an interesting plot twist and bring back Naveen Andrews who portrayed the dark sorcerer in "OUAT in Wonderland." Though he was punished and forced to serve eternity as a genie in a bottle he may have found a way out and is now a supreme sorcerer. It's a stretch but this show has a way of making the impossible possible.

As for writers of Henry's story book the list is a bit shorter. There aren't many Disney characters that are book enthusiast and powerful sorcerers.

Yen Sid "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" - Though an obscure character Yen Sid is Mickey's teacher and a powerful sorcerer. He definitely has the power and ability to create a magical fairytale book.

Aslan "Chronicles of Narnia" - Yes this is a long shot and wouldn't really make sense story wise but hey that's why it's a theory and not a fact. We've always wanted to see characters from the 'Narnia' franchiseintroduced in OUAT and maybe this is how Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will do it.

Zeus "Hercules" - King of the Olympian Gods! Again, why not? He's powerful, legendary and all knowing. He could easily write a book based on our Storybrooke/Enchated Foret characters.

I actually believe it will be one of these two. And if the "hat" is any indication, then its Mickey. I still think the author is August since they announced he will be returning.

Me too!! Love Cruella Deville and Malficent but Ursula just doesn't seem to have the huge overbearing personality that I would have expected.

I originally thought that the author was going to be August but now, I don't know. Blue acted funny about the Author. And I think its going to be someone more powerful than August. Didn't she say that the even though the Author and the Wizard are not the same person, they are each very powerful?

Regina's my girl (see avatar) so I really loved this episode. I love the growth of her and Emma's relationship.

I have no idea who the author is, though I love the idea of it being an older Henry, which is an idea I've seen thrown around.

I'm thinking the Blue Fairy is knee deep in all of this.

I am pretty disappointed in the casting of the 3 villains. Though, a pretty high bar is set by Regina and Gold.

Loved that they stopped to eat at Mr Clucks --- nice Lost reference there.

I was underwhelmed too. It seems like the same story repeated each "season" some villain comes in tries to steal a kid/baby, tries to break up the Charming Family or whatever and by the end of the season the villain is gone and everything is ok again.

my favorite parts were when the smoke from the hat took the shape of the Chernabog and when Cruella's garage opened to see her car. Hook came in 3rd.

I enjoyed Cruella. Her digs at Rumple were funny.

Checking here since I know you are all big fans.

My dd is a big fan of the show and we are planning on visiting Steveston ( where a lot of the show is filmed) prior to our DCL cruise in early August.

Has anyone visited there? Any must sees? Will she be able to recognize a lot of the places from the show?

Also wondering if they might actually be filming in early August? Not sure how to find out that info.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I've never been there, but she should know that the "famous" clock tower does not actually exist. The building exists (and I think it is a library), but there is no clock tower on top of it. Apparently a lot of people go wanting to see the clock tower and it's not there. Otherwise I've heard it's very recognizable. I'm sure you could find someone's blog online who went there or something.

My parents are going this summer! My mom said there is an ice shop there that has flavors based off the show.
