Okay, this is driving me crazy. I've been Google-searching like crazy and it seems nobody else noticed this.

In the scene where modern-day Hook stops past-tense Smee from killing the "vermin" with the shovel, Hook says "you'll understand someday"... was that a nod to Mickey Mouse?

Mickey already showed up at the very beginning of the episode and I think it was another way to sneak him in... but nobody has mentioned it anywhere and I absolutely LOVED that tiny little scene.

I have a theory that maybe Robin Hood never was destined to be Regina's true love. Maybe all of Robin's Merry Men have the same tattoo, Regina never saw the man's face only his tattoo. Has she gone after the wrong man, believing him to be the love she missed out on in the Enchanted Forest?

I definitely noticed the emphasis they placed on Robin Hood's tattoo in the finale. It was right after Regina said when she saw his tattoo through the window she knew he was her true love . . . yet I remembered we and she never saw his face in that episode; just the tattoo.

Wouldn't surprise me at all!

Hmmm. I haven't gotten a chance to watch the finale yet, but I'm wondering if it is possible that Marian isn't who she seems to be and she's the REAL new villain. And Elsa as villain was a red herring to throw everyone off the scent of Marian? (It just seems that Robin would have more issues with Regina than he seemed to if she had locked up the love of his life & somehow caused her death, or am I misreading that from these posts?)

I agree. I've been thinking the same thing. Robin did not know that Regina had Marian, so something happened between them before she was captured.

I need to rewatch the finale, but I believe Marian mentioned that her husband didn't know what had happened to her.

I just borrowed season 1 from our local library. I love this show!!! I hope they have season 2 and 3 so I can watch them..

I just borrowed season 1 from our local library. I love this show!!! I hope they have season 2 and 3 so I can watch them..

But be warned, the first season is the absolute best of the series!!! At least in my humble opinion.
