any suggestions where the best place to watch the parade is? and how early should we find our place to get a good view? will be having a 3year old with us so we want him to watch most of it if possible

My fave spot is wedged in near the Towers that are close to Belle Notte.... If you squeeze :crowded: in infront of these towers, nobody can stand in front of you, giving you a great view!

what towers? sorry im sounding silly but not sure where the place u r refering to is. :confused3

We found that the seating area around the castle (where the Princess meet and greet is) was a good place to watch the parade.

ok....well after 4 days of being able to watch the parade... and a different spot each time, i got it perfect! hahaha...

a quiet place is further back... nearer into fantasy world, where the floats come out.. but the floats pass very quick,a nd you only get a good view of one side of the float.

the seats near the princesses stage was good... but this could get crowded... and it only takes one pushy family to ruin the viewing for everyone... but still a good option as you can stand on bench if all else fails.

but my fav place... for so many reason is here....

sit ont he curb... so that your facing the seats opposite the princesses stage... sit so you have the road coming towards you... this way

you see the floats for ages come up.. then going around ben... then going away from you... its a great view from every angle... you get the dancers coming up and saying hi.... and this is also where the show stop is for the christmas dancers... so at the end... you also see the soldiers dance and see father christmas waving etc..... if you dont know where i mean... maybe i could find a pic of a map!! haha...
but yes, great spot! and it was not that busy either as pavement is quite thin there... so once buggy etc behind you, your fine.. i sat us there with popcorn and hot choc.. it was perfect!!

Erm..... They are down in the direction of Discoveryland, fairly near Belle Notte.... These are the best pics I can find to show where I mean.... I'm sorry they aren't very good....

I've watched from outside Belle Note which was nice but my fave spot has to be where the stone seating is around the castle! Kind of at the side/back of the castle. They let the youngest children sit at the very front but both times in December and September I had a fantastic view and its a lovely background for photos too lol.

I'm sitting where Holly recommended. I think the Peter Pan stop is also there aswell.

Its def a good spot... you see the floats for much longer... i have pics up on my trip report from the two days i sat there... so maybe from them.. you can work out exactly where i mean! haha. Its def where i will sit from now on.
