I am making up a list of tips of the day to send to all the cruiser on our list I would love some help with this I started this morning with #75 Woo Hoo !!!

Any suggestions would be great. Some in our group have cruised before but most have not and I'm sure some here on the dis would be able to use them.

#75 that I started with was when receiving info from Disney make sure you read everything and keep it on hand it's got a wealth of info in it.

My one for tomorrow is going to be about these boards because Iv'e learned so much about all things Disney from everyone here and is worth more than any book you could ever try and purchase.

We had a pre cruise party this past weekend so everyone could talk about the trip and those who don't really know one another now do. The kids and big kids all had a great time.

I'm rambling today. Bring on the tips.

You get 10% off and on-board credit! The great thing is you can keep bumping out your date and don't get penalized! We changed our date 3 times

Also the deposit needed was smaller... last year we only needed $100 per person to book our cruise.

I am not sure if they will open an res up for Palo brunch or tea, but we were on right at midnight on our 90 day mark and could not get tea or brunch. A couple gold did at 90day so they must have been a little quicker but neither myself or my parents were not able to. We were able to get the 11:00 to 11:30 time for being at he port. We were usually one of the first ones in the past so I was happy about that.

My tips... do the small things in the Navigators. We did one that was making racecars out of veggies. It was a blast.

I also have to say that we love the cheeseplate from room service.

Do not forget your day bag on the first day. We usually have the kids wear theirs under their outfits that day.

We got to check in at 90 days. We live in Minnesota so are on central time. I tried at 11:00 our time, 12:00 our time and waited til about 12:30 and still couldn't get on. I woke up at 3:42 am to go to the bathroom and tried then and was able to get on at that point. Some have said you have to log all the way out and log back in to be able to access it. I've also heard that they might wait until they hit midnight on the west coast (2:00 our time). I just wasn't willing to sit up trying for that long - had to work the next day. I didn't want to book anything - just wanted my early check-in time at the airport! Tomorrow (8/2) will be the true test and we'll see how the new system works and whether they truly do enforce it!

Good luck - we've got friends sailing with us for their first cruise and I'm hoping they can get early check-in so they can board with us. I have to say, it feels good to have it all paid for - now we only have 10 1/2 more weeks to wait. I think my trip calculator said 2 months and 15 days? Can't come soon enough for me!

I sent out the first draft of the FE lists today. I sent out the entire list. You can choose to gift everyone on the list or exchange with your part of the list.
Example: Loveys through lds on the first part of the list can exchange amongst themselves or give a gift for all the cabins

4Holidays-Lornak are on the second part of the list. They can choose to give to all the cabins or just the cabins in their group.

We still might have a few updates coming and I still don't have a email for a few. I had a few postmaster returns. If you don't see the list in your inbox please PM me and I will resend it to. Please leave me your correct email address. Or if you have any corrections please let me know.

Where do you sign up for arrival time? I assumed it would be under online check in, which says is open now (I've booked excursions), but there is no button or anything to actually DO the online check in.

Am I just crazy?

It lets you choose it after you do your online check in. I chose the 11am arrival.

well we finally have our hotels for the drive down and the drive home booked...thanks to my FIL and his AAA discount!

skip it. You can edit it later. That's what I did. We are having to send some documents for one daughter's passport and don't have it yet.

I booked 11:30-12 this morning, so you should be fine.
