Chris

Hi There! We'll be joining you on the cruise as well. Taking my DD (6 by the time we cruise) on a surprise Disney Cruise. It will be myself, friend and DD (6). Looking forward to meeting everyone :thumbsup2

Lisa

Myself, DW, and DD (4 at cruise time).
Also joining us will be my parents as well as my Brother, his wife, niece (5) and nephew(3).

I'm 99.9% sure we will be on this one as well! We initially booked a holiday cruise but we are moving it! It will be me, my hubby, our two boys 7 & 8, and my mother as she was very jealous after listening to the stories we just came home with! We are very excited about the new ship!

Nice to see everyone! We upgraded to a catagory 4 family suite with verandah so ignore my cabin number. I am sure no one is forming the FE exchange yet lol!

We are officially switched to this cruise! It will be myself(30), my hubby(turns 32 on the cruise) and our two boys(7&8.) This will be our second disney cruise and we may add my mother for her first ever cruise! We upgraded to a family suite with veranda and are on deck 7!

Add us to the list. We just got off our first cruise and loved it, so scheduled another one onboard. Right now, it's just us - me (Stacy), husband (John), DD (Amanda) 9 at time of cruise and DD (Katie) 7 at cruise time. We're trying to find friends or someone to come with us so we can share the fun. It looks like mid-West fest so far. We're from MN, too, and are tying this into fall break (MEA in my day). Can't wait to sail again and I'm looking forward to being at Castaway Cay when the water isn't frigid! Now that it's official and we have our room assignment, I have to get another trip calculator going. I just deleted our other one because it made me sad to see how many days it had been since we got home.:sad2:

We have our room assignment but cannot remember what it is right off the top of my head. We are at the back of the ship (which I have never been before). We have a veranda though which I think will be cool right off the very back of the ship. It is category 6.

The girls are super excited about the new kids areas (as am I). I need to think of good fish extender gifts as well this time. The girls love doing the fish extenders.

We have been in October before and the water is great!!! Only last year did we have 1 day that the weather was a bit chilly high 60's, but it was still sunny and beautiful.

Just wanted to say Hello :wave2: to everyone. My DH and will be on this cruise celebrating our 8th anniversary!!

How about "Once upon a Dream?" Let me know what you guys want and I can change the title:)

Has anyone ever been on an October cruise? I keep getting a lot of questions from people such as "Aren't you afraid of the storms? That's still hurricaine season" and many like this. Has anyone had any problems before???

My wife and I split our honeymoon in October between DCL and WDW and we had beautiful weather, mid 80's and sun the entire time on the Cruise. That was the 14th-18th of October.
The only time the weather was bad was the last day we were in the parks before going home. As for the storms the ships can generally move around to avoid them, or lessen the impact from what I have read.
