What would happen if you were to lose your KTTW card when you got off of the ship, or even worse, had your purse with your ID stolen etc? Has this ever happened to any one before? It is my BIGGEST Fear while travelling...

Not exactly your question, but . . . My sister had her passport stolen the DAY before she was supposed to come back to the states (She was in France). It was a MAJOR deal to get it replaced within the allotted time to make her flight.

The BEST advice I have ever heard is to make a copy of your passport and carry that with you when you are out and about. Leave your original passport in the safe in your room (I did carry my original drivers license, but never my passport.) If you lose your drivers license, someone in your party could come onboard and get your copy (or your passport).

I know DCL wants the picture id and the KTTW card when you reboard. I don't know if a copy would do if the original was lost while you were out.

There must be some sort of provision for dealing with this because we found a KTTW card that a passenger lost several weeks before on CC. I've heard of other folks losing theirs as well.

I almost forgot, but on out last cruise, on the last nite, in a rush to get the bags in the hall before the bell tolls... my DW packed her KTTW card in the suitcase accidentially and the suitcase was gone before she realized it. Customer service replaced on the spot that evening, but she really didn't need it again.
