What's the break-even point on a 7-day of buying the unlimited usage package vs. pay-as-you-go?

It looks like I may need to have interent access to keep in touch with the family back home due to a terminally ill family member. Truthfully, if I have the unlimited package, I will be tempted to spend more time online than I would if I was just checking my email. But I do not want to pay more than the unlimited usage price if I really do use the internet that much.

Can you convert from pay-as-you-go to unlimited during the course of the cruise if it becomes necessary?

We always get the unlimited time. It always ends up that we use more time then we expect. What you think will take two minutes takes ten.

I also got the unlimited for the 3 day(39.95). Probably ended up costing a dollar a minute. There will be bigger expenses to avoid!

If you think that you will be spending more than two hours checking messages and being online, then the unlimited is the best choice. The time goes by very quickly and the minutes add up very fast.

Second follow-up question. Do you need to sign up in the internet cafe up by Promenade Lounge (I think that's where it was when I was on the Wonder last year), or can you sign up in Cove Cafe, which I understand also has access?
Again, thanks.

I don't know the answer to your question but wanted to piggyback on this topic.

Does anyone know how easy/hard it is to get a computer? Is there generally a wait to use them or can you use it when you like? Is there a limit to how long you can stay on at a time? (other than courtesy if someone else is waiting)?

How much is the unlimited package for one week? How much is per minute?

The unlimited price for a 7 day cruise is 89.99 or the per minute charge is .75 cents.

On my last cruise the longest I waited to get a terminal is about 5 minutes. Early in the morning there was no wait at all.

As far as I know, there is no time limit that one can be on a terminal.

We payed the 89 bucks..........DDs and myself used it. If you are going to use it just get the weekly.......I'd hate to be counting my mins.

I've read that the internet is 24 hr access onboard. I hope it's true!
