Onboard Booking

I'm wondering if the prices quoted on board are the best prices you'll get or is ther another advantage to booking on board??

Do you know if you can transfer it to a TA that has already booked a group of rooms and get a group rate? Probably not, huh?

My TA told me that I could not get the stateroom credit plus her group rate ... DCL says it is one or the other.
