Onboard Booking Offer: 2 staterooms, change sail date on one?

I know that when I book 2 staterooms via the onboard booking offer, I have to book them on the same sailing. However, once they are confirmed, is it possible to move one stateroom to another sailing date and retain the 10% discount?

Technically, no. The rules are the 2 must be used on the same sailing. However whether that gets checked or not seems to vary -- I've seen reports that go both ways.
