On Wish now, happy to answer questions

We are the current 4 day voyage. First cruise on Wish, 6th DCL overall. 2 adults: DW and me, early 50s.

Some notes of interest:
No Hyperspace reservations for this cruise and going forward. Peeked in a few times during the day it was never full. Haven’t tried at night yet.

The Uncharted Adventure app game/hunt thing is active, they are calling it a beta. I have no info about it, haven’t tried it yet.

Boarding started at 11:45, we were in group 6 (11:15 PAT) Boarded around 12:10.

3,040 guests out of 4,000 capacity.

When you say there are no reservations for hyperspace lounge, is it that it's walk in now or just that reservations were booked up? It sounds like it's all walk in going forward but just want to be sure!

Please update on any Halloween activities! I am on the Wish 4 night Oct 3 sailing. Previous Halloween reports for the Wish indicated no trick or treating (just white bags of candy set on a table to grab), lack of Halloween activities that have been offered on other ships, etc. thanks!

Tonight is Mickeys Mousquerade, with costumes and trick or treating. We didn’t bring costumes but tit will be fun to see what people have come up with. Not sure what all else will be involved. The Pumpkin Tree is cool, more elaborate that the I remember from the Dream.

Hi! Hope you're enjoying your cruise, quick question, do you know if the walls outside of the staterooms are magnetic? I read that inside the ones inside the staterooms are not. We are planning for fun activity for our December cruise on the Wish, but only works if the outside walls are magnetic.

We were on the September 12th sailing and that’s correct, it was pretty disappointing to be honest. The deck 11 show was cute but really if it wasn’t for that and the character tears being in Halloween costumes that evening you wouldn’t think it was a HOTHS, there was no trick or treating like on the other ships, no Halloween movies showing, no Jack & Sally

On a cruise Facebook group someone was told all Wish brunches (Palo and Enchante) are being cancelled. Has that happened on your cruise?

I saw another facebook post where was told by concierge that the brunches were overbooked due to a system error and they had to cancel a lot of people. It certainly has been the case that a lot of people had their brunches cancelled in our cruise group for Sept. 30. The reason why is definitely unclear.

My guess is there is a covid outbreak in the staff. These conflicting narratives are reminding me of when the stage shows were cancelled and kids clubs were closed and various reasons were being given back at the start of the year when everyone was getting sick from the first Omicron wave.
