On what days are flights most full going/coming MCO?

Just wondering what days most people travel to Orlando. Are the airline seats mostly full on Fridays, Saturdays going to Orlando. Sundays, Saturdays coming back? Is Thursday a busy day to fly there? Thanks

I think Friday-Sunday is a busy time for incoming and outgoing flights. What time of day are you flying?

I think it is the weekend flights. However, we are going tomorrow and the terms of our fare were to arrive and depart on either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Now that most of the airlines are not requiring Saturday night stay-overs for Florida, perhaps the crowds are more evenly distributed. I can take "broken" weeks for my vacation (leaving on a Tuesday, returning to work the following Wednesday), but not everyone can. That may be partly the reason why Saturday is so crazy - at PHL, anyway.

For us, flying to Orlando Friday evening after work and then flying home Sunday evening a week later are our flight times of choice. (Yes, we're sadistic, we leave no rest time), straight back to work on Monday morning.

However, we have found those to be the worst times as far as fare sales go. We have had to fly home Saturday evening or EARLY Monday morning to get the fares we wanted.

We're flying down on Thursday late evening and returning on Sunday afternoon.

Its always a tough game to play.

On our trip in October we returned home on a Tuesday, thinking it would be less crowded on the plane.

Well a month or so after we made reservations, they changed the plane from a 737 to a small regional jet with 50 seats

Sat is the busiest day of the week. We asked our limo driver. He said Sat's are always a madhouse.
