WEEKS TO THE FANTASY!!!

We will be joining you on this cruise as well. We just got off the Fantasy the 4th of May. That was my son's Dream from Dream Factory (kind of like Make A Wish). We fell in love and knew we would be back again and again. This time we will be bringing our daughter.

I (Christy) am a Stay-at-home-mom. Kirk works in shipping. We home school our kids. We adopted both our kids. Quintin who is 6 we adopted privately, he has several congenital issues; heart, lungs, stomach, ect. (hence why he was granted the wish). Alizabeth's adoption was just finalized in Feb. She is 2 and we have had her since she was 2 weeks old. She was adopted from the state. She had a brain injury that resulted in CP.

Both of my kids to look at you would never know of the struggles that they have had. We try not to let it be an issue for them. My son knows he has to do some things differently but we don't ever want him to use it as an excuse.

We fell in love with everyone on the ship. That is why we decided on the Fantasy again, in hopes that we would see some of them again.

I look forward to getting to know all of you and getting in on the FE. We didn't find the group for our last cruise till almost time to go, so we didn't get as involved. I want that to be different this time. There is no excuse.

I forgot to mention that Kirk and I will be celebrating our 14 year anniversary on the cruise!

This was our second (and LAST I HOPE!) move! We had a five day booked for last year, changed it to a seven day (five was just too short!) for this August, then we moved to Denver from Virginia and my daughter's school will have started out here when we were supposed to go. In VA we started after Labor Day, but they start August 14th! So we changed it to when they historically have their Fall break around here. As long as they don't change that, we are good.

I have to admit that is one thing we love about homeschooling. We can pick up and go whenever we want. Of course my son isn't crazy that he is still doing school while everyone else is out for the summer. He is only in Kindergarten so it isn't like he has a lot to do though.
