On the Western Fantasy 10/11/14

Hello Cruisers! We have decided to change our dates from March 2014 to Oct. 2014. We were going to do a land/sea 4 days and 4 days, but now we are doing 9 at WDW and this Oct 11 sailing. 2013 has been an incredibly rough year for our family so 2 vacations next year, doesn't feel too indulgent We will be joining some very good friends of ours. I have just submitted a change request to DU, and still need t0 change the tickers We are a family of 5, although not sure yet if DD-20 will join us. There's me, Krista - I am almost 42 and am a cardiology tech at our local hospital. DH, Scott - type 1 diabetic, just had a heart attack and bypass surgery - works customer loyalty with Fairmont Hotels. DD - Kerrigan will be 17 at time of sailing -funny girl- crazy for Donald . DS-Liam will be 14 at time of sailing - likes girls...a lot and possibly DD -Kelsey- 20, early childhood educator - may be working full time by then This will be our first cruise ever and we are soooo excited!!

Welcome BFAMILY5! As I told you on the FB page, we are a family of five too! I am Connie (42 two weeks from today ), admin assistant at a local university. DH is Brian, a maintenance planner for an aviation company. We have Jillian who turns 14 next month (15 at cruise time), Charity who is 11 (12 at cruise time), and Gabe, who is 7 (8 at cruise time). This will be our first cruise ever!

It's official! We are all transferred! We are booked into room 7606...a cat 4C. Our friends are booked into an inside cabin and are on deck 7, so we wanted to be close. Soooooooo looking forward to it!!

He put the Disney cruise app back on his phone and gives us an update as to how many days are left! We are excited but it's so far away us girls aren't thinking about it much!

Welcome, Heidi!!!! It looks like your girls will be sharing clubs with my girls! I have a DD who will be 15 at cruise time, and a DD that will be 12 at cruise time.

A few of us are right now trying to find a way for our children to start getting to know each other BEFORE the cruise, so that by cruise time they will be excited to finally meet each other in person...just like WE will be!

My DH AND our kids are super excited about the cruise, too. But this will be our first cruise EVER! I have uploaded the Cruise app too...

I am still working on a message board. Delphi has one that can be set up, but I am still trying to figure out how to make it private. I have a busy weekend, but I will get back on it early next week.

If anyone else has a suggestion, feel free to let me know! I'm open to other brilliant ways to make a private message board for the tween set.

I'm a little sad today. We moved to this cruise date after we moved halfway across the country to Colorado, and the date we moved from is tomorrow! We'd be at Disney right now, getting ready to get on the ship tomorrow!

Ahhh well. it is only a year or so away.

This will be our second Disney Cruise. We are so very excited. Our last one was October 2011 and we had to wait three years to save up enough DVC points to go again. This time we will only have 6 people... we will miss the rest of the family that was with us last time.

Looking forward to the countdown!

AWWW, shmoogrrrl...I am so sorry! I know full well how disappointing it is to have to cancel a trip. We were supposed to go to WDW in just 46 days, but had to change it to just an Orlando vacation with no theme parks at all due to financial issues earlier in the year. We will be two miles from the "gates of heaven", but not able to go.

But you are right, at least we still do have the cruise to look forward to.

Just had to change from the 18 October Eastern to this cruise. Went back and read most of the posts. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise, we just completed the Alaska trip in July and we did 2 in the Med while I was stationed in Europe.

It will be me (Cindy), DH (Andy), and our DD (Skylar) and we are currently booked in a 5E GTY. She will be 12 on this sailing and as many others DH and DD are avid readers. We will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary on this cruise.

I created a website with LOTS of information about the ship, Disney policies, and ports for the 18 October cruise and I'm currently working on one for this cruise. When I get more of it completed I will post a link. I also included a roll call and and FE list on the website. Octoberbride3, if you need any help with the FE organization or if you would like to pass it on to me I will be happy to take it off your hands.

to the form for the Cruise Spreadsheet is in the first post. I learned how to make up a form so everyone can add their info and it organizes and updates itself

This means that the hours I spent on my last cruise organizing the spreadsheet turned into 30 minutes last night. Posted the link and I am done

All i have to do now is add names to the first post. They will get there. I need meds and heat first for the latest entry on my wild ride

Is there a link to the spreadsheet so we can each see the entire roll call or are you going to publish it later when it is closer to the cruise? I filled out the form to be added, but was wondering where the actual spreadsheet was.
