Safe travels on your way. Wish I was making the trip...

Well it was a long straight on trip.everything went well other hitting rush hour in Atlanta which I thought we would miss. In total the trip took 29 hours.

We went to island of adventure today. Harry potter was awesome. Cooking chicken on the grill this evening.

Fort arrival will be on Monday. Currently at koa in kissimmee

Glad you made it. You can exhale and relax now.

I thought I had posted an update..oh well I'll try again. Spent Saturday at Universal and again at islands of adventure today. Meals on location have been very good and prices surprisingly good value. Wrapping up some relaxing at site and pool and head to fort tomorrow

Glad you made it safe with no trouble (other than Atlanta). We don't seem to have trouble going to Florida, just flat tires on the way home. Our driving time is around 24 hrs, I couldn't do it like you, takes us 3 1/2 days! Are you staying at Ft. Summit KOA? We did Harry Potter last year and will do Harry Potter new land this Dec when we head to Disney. Hope you have a great time!

We are at the Orlando/Kissimmee KOA. I highly recommend it.

I will never try none stop again. What's funny is we will return home in 2 days with a planned stop and should do better on the nerves.

Day one went well. I'm surprised that there are not as many internal buses running or so it seems. Bummed that my site wasn't truly level. I hate having to put blocks under my tires. (No levelers on my unit).

Was happy to see the store has specific fort souvenirs. Will definitely be getting a fort shirt.

No issues with boat. One of the more peaceful parts of Disney. Fast pass seems to work fine. I have even updated today's plans for Hollywood.

I never paid attention to the overall levelness of the sites because I had levelers, but with the bus and with the 5th wheel, there was some leveling required.

well we have started day 3 today. Picked up a golf cart for the next two days. Getting ready to head over to the water park. The temperature last night got down to 49 degrees. we Had a severe downpour yesterday while at Hollywood yesterday. although we do not spend a lot of time at the campground it is As nice as it was 3 years ago when we were last here.

Randolph,

How are the crowd levels at the Fort? Weekends in spring are usually pretty full but wondered how it was for you now during mid-week? When I was there last month, mid-week had a few empty sites in our loop each night and no site every went empty more than one night or so it seemed.

Have you gone looping now that you have a golf cart? See anything interesting?
