i thought the offical ressies date was may 17

We talked to a guard the other day and opening is still May 17. Soft opening is in about a week so this new date maybe what this is.

I spoke to one of the Disney CM's. My understanding is in just a few days the facility will be open to Disney Employees to experience the new resort. For those of you who purchased SSR this is an exciting time. We will be staying at the BDW for a week in early June. You can be sure we will pay a visit. Dennis

Soft opening for employees or whatever will give the SSR staff time to work out any kinks in the system It is a great idea, the members will benefit from this. You don't want to be the first guests at any resort when it first opens. It is a great move on DVC's part.
