So I've now had a complete turn around from offsite, IDrive with Car, to On site (pop century) without a car......roll on when I can book the darn trip so I can stop changing my mind :rotfl:

So if staying at Pop Century what time does the first Disney bus leave for the parks and the last bus from the parks (looking at October ....2015).

First buses leave really early - usually just after 6 am, to allow guests ample time to get to a park and transfer to get to a resort if need be for breakfast reservations.

The last buses will be when the last person leaves the park for the night. They will get you back :) They are said to run approximately 2 hours after park closing, but this varies depending on crowd levels, seasons etc.

We've been the last folk to leave a few times and got out to the buses and been told to 'pick any bus and say where you're going' :rotfl2:

Thanks for that - love that you have been the last people to leave, now that's what I call getting value out of your visit :goodvibes

We both drive but never bother with a car on site. Disney buses are fine and the cost of getting cabs when you need them is far cheaper than the car hire cost!

I blamed my camera last year ;) We were 'guided' to the exit a few times. I've never been evicted in such a wonderful, friendly manner :rotfl2:

Thanks - We too both drive and apart from the cost of car hire and the parking costs, we do get a bit stressed finding our way around - so we are going for the non-stress option this time and DD loves the bus as she never goes on one so it will be a novelty for her too.

I know the bus to DTD don't start till 8am but the rest I think are 2 hours prior to park opening.

Like previous poster said taxis are really affordable if traveling with in disney we got a taxi from DTD to the Poly for breakfast and it was less the $5 I think we just have him a $10 though as we didn't have anything smaller. Darn post office only giving us large notes for our dollars lol.

Disney hotel concierge are great for arranging taxis for you as well. Just love CM's can't do enough for you :D

I loved the Pop buses! when we stayed at POR I was gutted that we didn't have the same music on board haha :goodvibes

We decided against car hire for our 2010 trip, no problems at all getting a taxi from the Pop front entrance, most times there were a couple waiting already :)

We never hire a car as we don't want to have to decide who is going to drive etc.
Buses are on the whole reality good and you can with the right plan get anywhere on property easily.
We drive at home so it's nice to not have to for a couple of weeks.

Before they started the monorail closing an hour after park closing we were in Epcot late one night and stayed chatting with friends after illuminations. The cleaners tidied around us before we decided to leave!

Anyway we were at BLT and got the last monorail from Epcot to the TTC then the last monorail from TTC to BLT. By the time the monorail got to MK we were the last people on there! They did a sweep to check and told us if we didn't get off at the contemporary we would be spending the night in the monorail barn :rotfl
