On-site Stay: Where do I get to park?

Yes, but you have to pay for it. The rates went up recently and I'm not sure how much it is.

Your AP gets you free parking at the Universal Parking Garage, not at the hotels. Since you can walk to the parks or take the water taxi from the hotels, there is no need to take your car to the Universal Garage.

The cost for parking at the hotels was $6, but I read here that it has gone up to $7 per day.

So, I have to pay $7 a day to park at the hotel, but if we park at the garage it is free? I won't need my car the entire time I am staying at Portofino.

I have looked into leaving our car in the garage for the length of our stay. The parking attendant at the garage said we would be towed. I was not so much interested in the savings (okay--DH was very interested!) but I like to have covered parking.
