We have been to WDW once before, and stayed on-site. We were thoroughly pleased and it was so convenient. I need another Disney fix, and I am planning a low budget trip in November or December (first week).

I have been to Disneyland tons of times, and stayed off-site with no trouble. The enormity of WDW makes me wonder if the same would be true in Orlando.

Has anyone stayed off site? Can you compare the differences between staying in or out of the "park". I get the obvious Disney is always better, but on a practical note, the cheaper the better. Any thoughts?:confused3

We stayed at the double tree suites by downtown Disney a couple of years ago when we did a four day quick spring break Disney trip before a bigger trip that August. We didn't do any parks. We just did some meals at the resorts, downtown, and a day a cocoa beach. We loved double tree and would highly recommend it. A good friend just got back after staying at the Holiday Inn and Suites that mousesavers recommends. She said the bus service was great. Just a couple of many to consider!

We stayed at Wyndham bonnet creek and loved it. It is inside the gates of disney and it was just beautiful . We used vacation strategy and had a wonderful experience . We have also stayed a couple nights at the caribe royale and loved it as well, great location also !
