On site hotels - am I missing something?

We have stayed on site 2 times before and both times booked through WDW Travel UK's website. We are going again in August (flights booked so looking for hotels) and I have been pricing up options and the prices on expedia and hotels.com are much the same but with both those sites you get 10% cashback and with hotels.com you get a free night's stay with every 10 nights. I am booking 2 rooms for 14 nights so the cashback and free nights appear to make these sites a better option.

Am I missing something? Is there a downside I'm not seeing?

The only downside is that you can't add the dining plan to those bookings however that's not really a downside as paying for the dining plan is rarely good value.

When I booked a recent room-only, Orbitz offered 10% off WDW's already-discounted rate for the same room, as well as cashback via eBates (if I ever see it) and cashback through Orbitz's reward system. I had no problem adding the reservation to "my disney experience" and getting linked up, and in this case at least Orbitz's cancellation policy is far more forgiving.

With hotels.com you get 1 night free when you spend 10 night, but you will only get the free night after you've stayed at wdw, to redeem for a later use
It's not a buy 10 nights get the 11th free
If you don't plan any hotel stay at a hotel of similar value in the months following your wdw stay you won't use that free night

Also you'll need to buy tickets

On the k site you get 3% quidco and there is current!y a free nights deal (free nights now, not free nights later on another stay like on hotels.com)

If you book direct with wdw UK at the moment though-there's a special offer on for free nights-
Does that not make wdw direct a better deal?!

The expedia and hotels.com prices are within a few pounds of the wdw uk prices with the free nights currently on offer included. The only hotel that isn't showing 1, 2 or 4 free nights seems to be Port Orleans.

Doesn't look a great deal on the WDW site. I have been looking at prices for a week in August.
7nights at Yacht Club Garden view
WDW direct £1,539 less 3% Quidco = £1,493 Includes 2 FREE nights - that's a saving of £616.61
Hotels.com £1,390 less 10% Quidco = £1,251 Plus 1 free night every 10 off another booking

Not sure abut every hotel but looks a bit of a con the free night offer on WDW.
