I have been on the wonderful magic twice and i must say the park restaurants are sooo much better than the dining on board.

My favorites about the cruise is the shopping ports for jewelry you cant beat those prices in the states.

I wonder why they dont duplicate some of the restaurants from the parks on to the cruise, it would be "FANTASTIC"!

Though Palo's is our favorite having a couple of the "GREAT ON-SITE eaterys would be well worth it.:sunny:

A reminder that the upscale park restaurants don't need to serve 1000 people at the same time, twice a night, as the onboard ones do. Palo's can be a bit more "special" since they limit to about 150 meals in a five hour period.

We're talking apples and oranges in terms of food service between the parks and onboard. :D

Also the bottome line is you are paying more for your meal when you dine at WDW then on the cruise. All cruise lines have really cut back on their type of food that is served the past few years.

It's stilll very good, just not top of the line every single meal.

I have no complaints about the food aboard the Magic. Unfortunately, after 3 cruises, I feel service should be better. I've read many wonderful reviews about the dining service, however, I've found it "uneven" at best. On our second cruise our server really was outstanding. However, our servers on our last cruise didn't refill drinks, offer dessert, or coffee, but did tell us at every meal how they were providing "excellent" service. That said we did have "excellent" service one evening at Topsiders, as well as at Palo.

Personally, I think the food and service on the cruise ships FAR surpasses anything I've had at WDW. I was quite surprised to hear differently.
