On Property pool hours

Silly question, but my 17 year old wants to know if the pools are open early anywhere on property to swim before heading to the parks. Thanks in advance.

The quiet pools are unofficially open 24 hours.

No, they are not. All pools have posted hours and may be locked when the pool is closed. Many of the pools don't open until 7 or 8 in the morning at the earliest. And that is when they are usually doing any required daily pool maintenance.

Feature pool gates are locked at night. Small pools are not. People are in them all night long, and security is fine with it, as long as no one is causing a disturbance.

No, I have seen plenty of leisure pools that are gated and locked at night. Just saw it two week ago at the BC. They were all gated when the young boy drowned at one of the value pools while in the pool with family late at night. They all have posted hours that are not 24 hours.

Not all resorts are created equal. The Oasis Pool (leisure pool) at Poly, for example, has MB scanners and access is restricted outside of open hours (which are 7am-11pm). Will they kick you out if you're in past 11pm? Not likely.... but you can't get in the gate past that point.

Same at WL, the leisure pool gates are also MB controlled.

Some resorts don't have MB scanners on their leisure pools. They all do have posted hours, whether you see them enforced is another question.

The Leisure Pools areas at CBR,for example,allow 24/7 access(MagicBand 11:00 PM-7:00 AM)) because the Laundries are "Poolside" and Disney wants Guests to have 24/7 access to the Laundries.

Were it not for the Laundries,I think Disney quite possibly would lock the gates at night.

While Disney may not "enforce" hours at the Leisure Pools,I think they would prefer Guests to adhere to the hours or they would not post them.JMO

This is one of the reasons we NEVER get a pool view room. We've had people swimming and screaming and yelling in them at 2am.

You will not see that anymore at any of the main feature Pools at the Resorts-they are all locked to Guests at 11:00 PM("Summer Season") or earlier in the other "seasons".

It wasn't a main pool, it was the "quiet" computer pool at Pop Century.

If that was your 2014 trip, I think they fenced all the pools after that.

ALL 12 Pools at the Value Resorts are now LOCKED to all Guests at 11:00 PM(or earlier depending on the Season).

The only Pools that are not locked at night are some of the Leisure Pools(for example gates at the Leisure Pools at CBR are not locked at night so Guests can access the Laundries adjacent to the Pools).

Have you considered Swan/Dolphin? According to their website, their pools open at 6am.
