On our way home from another magical trip at DLR. We left Saturday morning, was supposed to leave at 6am, but ended up being 830am due to the bf losing his debit card. (Which we never found btw). Arrived in Anaheim around 4pm, and just had dinner at Tortilla Joes, which the kids really enjoyed.
We had long, hot days. First day in the park was Sunday, and the days got hotter & more crowded as the trip went on. Had the chicken salad sandwich from Jolly Holiday, which was very good, will be returning to that place.
Waited in line for RSR fastpasses for 1 hour on Monday, due to the machine being broken until about 755 or so. But, the ride was awesome! We loved it. Fastpass line was maybe 10-15 minutes. Never got the chance to ride Luigi's Flying Tires as I was not willing to wait in line for an hour for that ride. Flo's V8 Cafe was very good. Wish I had read on here before our trip, our noticed myself, that you do not need to wait until the beginning of your fastpass time slot to get another now! Made us wait day of day 2 until I realized that. What a dork I am! Lol
Tuesday was the highlight, we were lucky enough to have lunch at Club 33, which was amazing. The place itself is beautiful, even the toilets were awesome! Lol. The food was fantastic. My almost 9 year old tried lobster for the 1st time and loved it. There were many empty tables while I was there. I think there may have been some other DISers there. I overheard 2 women in the restroom saying who they were in screennames. So if you were there Tuesday from noon to about 130ish, I was there in the bathroom with you lol
Tuesday night we had a 4.4 quake while we were on Big Thunder, most of the rides were shutdown after that, but it was about 1130pm anyway. Had another quake this morning, got me & the bf ready to check out & go home! Lol
All in all, had another fabulous trip at the mouses house, highlight being Club 33 of course!
