If I need 6 rooms will MS hold 6 while they are booking the 1st room so I don't lose them?

Also will all 6 rooms be on the same reservation # or did they change it again and I'll need 6 reservation num bers?

I'm not positive on how the holds work but I did book 2 studios last week. It sounded to me like the CM had both in her booking window but I didn't ask. Hopefully someone else will know.

The rooms will have separate reservation numbers. It seems like the single number concept had tons of problems.

I am not sure if they can hold them but one thing that might make it go faster is to just give them one adult name for each reservation so they can be booked. Then go back and add the other guests, either in the same call or call back at a different time.

I did this when booking my SV rooms for BLT--I needed a 2 bedroom and 2 studios so I just said I wasn't sure who was a definite yet. I have not yet called back and updated names because we are still figuring it out.

Back in July, I booked our party of 15 into 2 2BR's at OKW for next June. We are staying Sat-Sat and had the first and last nights booked on cash with the weeknights on points. The entire reservation was listed under one confirmation number.

Today, I called MS because my new niece was born 2 days ago and I had to officially add her name to the reservation. The CM looked at my reservation and I could tell she was really confused. We have 2 rooms booked into 4 segments (cash/1 points night/4 points nights/cash) because we were going to add the DxDDP to our second night. Now that we can't do that anyways, we don't need the extra segment. So, she said, "let's clean this up or you are going to have all kinds of problems at check in". I told her that it is IMPERATIVE that we are in the same rooms for all 7 nights...no room switching. I also asked that she indicate that we would like to be as close to each other as possible. She told me that she is going to switch the reservation to a "traveling with" reservation. I'm not entirely sure what that entailed, but it involved another CM who told me that our reservations are now listed as "traveling with" so we "shouldn't be separated". We also have different reservation numbers now...sort of. Our cash reservations (first night and last night) still have the same number but each room has its own number for the points nights. We'll see how this plays out!
