On line, reservations linked?

I was all ready to check in on line, but the BCV reservation consists of 2 nights, linked at DVC, but when I began the process, it came up, 1 night 2 days. I think I'll wait until I get there. Wouldn't want to have to get new keys just because I checked in on line, or do you think that the reservations are linked no matter what the on line says?

If I do check in on line, do I have to do it for both days?

Hmmm, that's interesting! I suspect this whole "on line" thing is going to not ever quite "fit" what the reality is, since it was originally set up for CRO bookings. The IT team fails again! I think you're smart to wait.

I had the same problem. I had initially waitlisted for half of my stay. It came thru, but with 2 different confirmation numbers online. But my confirmation letter lists the full 8 days with a single confirmation number.
I started online checkin 5 days ago, and noticed that only the first half of the stay was there. I called MS and they said there was no problem, it was still one confirmation number on their end.
I did complete online checkin. We arrive on 6/15, so I will try to let you know how things work out.

I just returned from 10 nights and had several nights linked at BCV. I noticed that on-line check in was only available for the first 5 nights. I called MS and they said there was no problem, but when it is linked it just shows the initial reservation. Unfortunately, I decided not to do on-line check in, so I can't honestly say how it would have went, but I don't see why it would have been an issue.

One negative thing about linked reservation: The recorded message from the GM for BCV called me 3 days straight to thank me for staying at BCV since I would be checking out the next day.

In view of this (the fact that MS said there would be no problem), I have decided to go ahead and try the on line for this BCV stay. I also have booked into the AKV portion of the stay. This way, someone will be able to answer questions in the future.

Bobbi - I remember one person posting that they did have a problem. I think it was at SSR which seems to have had fits with the on-line check in anyway whereas I haven't seen a bad report from BCV. (not that I read everything posted! )

But the SSR person had linked ressies. When they got to the resort everything still seemed to be ok and the check out date listed was the correct one for the full stay. But during the stay something happened and the linked part seemed to get "lost" and SSR was expecting them to check out! And they said they didn't have any rooms! I believe something did end up being found but still I'd do a double follow up at the resort. And I also have gotten the impression that BCV has it together with the online check in and others not so much.

I did online check in for this past VWL visit....everything was ready, but the room! However, I got exactly what I requested. They also had a separate online check in space at the counter.
