I notice that certain dates only have certain rooms available on the disney on-line reservation section (e.g. only concierge rooms left, only lagoon or savannah rooms left). I wondered if this represented the actual occupancy rates in the hotel, or are there only a certain amount of rooms available on the website?

Would I get a different answer if I phoned up CRO? Has anyone any experience of checking availability on the website and getting different selection of rooms at CRO.

I am pretty sure that when you call CRO they use the same system to look up a room availability. I have checked many times on the web site and called and got the same info- nut you never know- I would try to call anyway- i always like to speak to an actual person about the options and never end up booking online!

Thanks- I just wondered, because if the website is right, occupancy must be pretty high for the GF and AKL for Thursday and Friday at the end of September (only lodge concierge and deluxe savannah views left).

Wonder if the parks will be busy too.

FYI : If I've read correctly, don't on-line reservations give you a 45 day advance cancellation notice or you lose your deposit? I would seriously reconsider doing anything via on-line resses until they come up with a more client friendly policy. Let the market dictate Disney's actions rather than the other way around.

I've read how many people have been "bit in the tail" due to the inflexibility of this policy. Don't book unless you're sure!

We were pretty sure of our dates when we reserved (I live in Ireland so it makes more sense to book on-line that sit on hold to CRO at international phone call prices), but I agree that cancellation policy really sucks.

Most companies are now actively trying to get people to use on-line reservations, but with a policy like that, it would dissuade you from using it.
