I am sure this has been asked but I can't find the answer. My on line check in is May 5. What items do I need to have handy and upload during the on line check in process. Thank you in advance

Copy of identification documents, emergency contact info, a photo of each person similar (shoulders up, white background, no hat/sunglasses), and how you're getting to the port and where you're going after. If you do it at midnight, be prepared for slow going, it took me 45 minutes to get the website to upload our photos as I kept getting the spinning wheel.

What if you don't have your passport yet at that time?

If you don't need it for your cruise, you can do a drivers license (birth certificate for kids). Someone on my cruise said they were able to go back and edit their information without losing their port arrival time but you do have to upload a photo in the identification section or it won't let you move on (I tried to skip it when it wasn't working and was going to add it later but it wouldn't let me).

Are the copy of identification documents your passports? Do you still need to submit a photo of each person in addition to the photos that are on your passport?

Yes, passport. If not using a passport, you can upload a photo id and copy of birth certificate.

Yes, recent head shot without hats or glasses. This is used instead of them taking your photo at the terminal.

Has there been any chatter about when or if they’ll return to doing check-in at the terminal? I don’t mind online check-in on principle but uploading all the documents sounds tedious.

My thought is that they will keep all the automation post-COVID since it is more efficient for them. They may reduce the number of forms to be uploaded if requirements change.

I figured they would probably keep a lot of stuff online if it saves them money. But ugh, it was so much easier just showing your passport/bc and getting your picture taken at the port.

As has been mentioned, photo of passport, different photo for security, and a credit card. You can upload existing photos, or it will give you the option to take and submit one right there. If I remember, when you are done, I had to scroll to the bottom of the page to hit the "Save" button.

I just did online check a couple of weeks ago for our may 8 transatlantic cruise. No big deal to upload everything. I scanned passport and photos as jpegs and just attached. The same with the safe passage site and scanning vaccine cards. It didnt take long for 4 of us. I immediately got my boarding cards and time. Of course the real worry is the test at the port. But we are all boosted and 3 of us had omicron in January. So there is not much else we can do but assume the best. I’m a bit of a worrier so I’m already concerned about the test to get home from Barcelona. But again nothing to be done about it. In my mind I’ll have a back up plan in case one or more of us test positive. An extended stay in Barcelona isn’t the end of the world.

Help with check in please
Family travel together. 4 rooms. 2 of the families have 3 children so 1 child from each of those families is staying in Grandparent's room.
Can the parents check in their entire family even though they are not all staying in the same room? Or do we need to check in by room?
TIA

Does everyone in the room have to check in before a boarding group is issued. Or can Grant and Grandma getting boarding pass and the grandkids can get theirs with mom and dad
