I am going to try online check-in tomorrow. We are at OK. How can I tell what floor we are on? I assume we can tell the building no. by it being the first no.(s) in the room number. Or do we even get a room number? I am concerned because my 70+ parents are going and my Mom just had gallstone surgery. The dr. said she can go because of th villa and she promised to ride only things like a Small World and do the shows. We need to be close to the bus and on the 1st floor. I am worried because of the computer assigning. We did make requests but don't know if they will be honored.
 
This service is to make the check-in process at the lobby much quicker. They will have everything ready for you when you get there. You will not know what room or building you are staying until you get to the lobby and speak with someone at the check-in desk.
 
You need to call and notify MS that your mother has to have a first floor villa near the bus stop for medical reasons. You will not be able to tell on the online check webpage your assigned villa or floor. Nor can you make requests at online check in. There is a box there but it doesn't work for DVC reservations.

When you check in at OKW I would mention your mother's health restrictions again just in case, may have already assigned you a room you requested. Disney is good about accommodating people for health issues. Good luck.

I think I will call OKW next Friday night after we have paid off our room and try talking with a manager. My parents will arrive alot earlier than we will and I want to pave the way for my parents.

Not really possible to do that. You need to call member services and it should have been done earlier. If you haven't done it ahead, I'd wait until you get there and maybe not check in online.
 
But I am not a DVC member. I didn't think I could call member services. I am paying cash for our villa.

Okay. Then I'd call CRO and make the request. I suspect you actually could call OKW directly in that case too.
