On Line Check-In?

We haven't been to WDW for a few years, nor have I kept up on things because DH has been dealing with serious health issues. However, we are planning a trip for the end of June, and I'm wondering what online check-in is and how one would do this?

You can check-in online within 10 days of your arrival date, through the dvcmember website. It walks you through the steps.

We did it for our visit last week. Our room was ready when we arrived at 11:30 a.m. However, I had requested a pool view, which we did not get, but that was okay.
