On-line check-in worked well, completely by-passed check-in process.

Daughter there now. She checked into the Wilderness Lodge On-line a couple of weeks ago expecting to have to still go though some check-in process when when arrived at the resort. As a part of the On-line check-in process, she tied a credit card to her room.

When she landed at MCO at 12:25 yesterday afternoon, she got a text giving her her room number and telling her that her room was ready. When she got off of the ME Bus, they proceeded directly to their room to drop off their carry-ons.

During the On-line process a few weeks ago, she could make 2 request. She chose ground floor and as close to the elevators as possible. (I called and changed the request to as close to the lobby as possible) She got one, she's on the ground floor, but just about as far away from the lobby as possible. Though they did get an upgrade to a courtyard view. She could have requested early check-in, though didn't, though her room was early anyway.

The whole process worked perfectly.

Yea it's a pretty nice feature. Those lines in the hotel lobbies can be brutal. And I love how they let you put in special requests

Thanks for sharing! We're off to the Yacht Club next month and are looking forward to bypassing the Front Desk!

That's encouraging. Thanks for posting.
