On Hold...

I was on hold for over an hour, but I got into AS Music!! Made all of my ressies right away too!! CANT WAIT!!

I have been on hold for 1 hr. and 12 min.... thank god for speaker phone on my cell phone.........It is worth it though....

That's how long I was on hold Monday, and I was thanking my dh for talking me into upgrading our phones to bluetooth ones. I can't imagine the neck cramps had I not been wearing my headset, and speaker phone would have awakened the whole house (we're on the West coast, so it was 4:30 am when I called). It was not only worth it, but kind of fun (especially because of the boards), like day after Thanksgiving shopping must be for people who are into that.

After being on hold for 1 hour and 7 minutes, I was able to just book Pop Century preferred for 9/7 through 9/15. They also had ASMusic standard for those dates. There was also an upsell available to Boardwalk and something else for about $3400+. The call only took 11 minutes. My arm and ear are sore now though. LOL I had a great CM named Alice Ann. She was so nice!!

People are holding for over an hour and she took the time to give you the upsell speech? As if those of us calling at 7 am and holding for an hour don't already know exactly what we want, right? Between that and people making ADR's, no wonder it's taking so long. But the way I looked at it on Monday was the more people that were making ADR's, the less people there were booking rooms ahead of me.

I think the code is "pretty please" and if that doesn't work, "can I speak to your supervisor?"...

I didn't have the code & they gave it to me...it should work for you too...just ask nicely

Anyways, I'm glad I'm not the only person who was motivated for free dining & got up at 4am this morning. Glad you got it, we reserved Pop for 9/22-10/6. Yay!!

I was on hold this AM for about an hour and a half and had to leave for work. DH took over and we got the dates we wanted, but not the resort. We wanted ASMovies and it was full so we got Sports. But we STILL GOT IT!

I'm on the phone now....AKL was booked solid for my dates Aug 29 - Sept. 3rd

But it looks like I'm in for two rooms POR; I've never been to either (was really looking forward to AKL), but I've heard good things about it. Hopefully we'll like it!

I had been calling since 7:30 this morning CST, and I've either been on hold for a half hour at a time before the call gets disconnected or they tell me they can't make any changes to any of the information at the time....
but I've finally got through,,and the CM I just talked to was absolutely wonderful to me!

I got the free dining for Aug. 27-Sept. 1 for me and my boyfriend's first trip together!!

Thanks! I can't take credit for it--saw it on a t-shirt at the mall, but it was perfect, so I had to adopt it.

You're doing 2 weeks, too! When you fly as far as we do, you gotta stay for as long as you can, right? We'll be at POFQ this time, but we LOVED Pop. Have a great time!
